I was following the pvp dragoon build which is
swordman c2 > hop c1 > cata c3 > dragoon c1
now Im r5 cata c2.
but this build doesnt works good in dungeon and mission,
my friend recommends me to take peltasta at r6.
in his opinion, swordman class must have to take peltasta
no matter pvp or pve, cuz peltasta has the only taunt in the game.
should I take peltasta in r6, overthought I already have c2 swordnan?
Cata C3 is very important, I think you’re better off sacrificing dragoon or not taking peltasta at all at this point. Once you get to use Rush, you’ll get what I’m trying to say.
My opinion may not hold any value what-so-ever, seeing as I’m only rank 5, 135 currently… but don’t bother taking Peltasta now, it’s a bit too late for it.
Your build may not work well in dungeons or missions, but you’ll be able to participate in GvG/PvP pretty well as far as Swordsmans go.
If your main concern is dungeons and missions, don’t worry; Peltasta is absolutely NOT necessary. The main problem with not having Peltasta is leveling after lv 230. You will have problems finding a party, but if you have friends that are willing with party with you, then you are all set.

Why’d you make a PvP oriented build if you want something that does well in PvE?
sword 2 is useless, you could remake the character so he can be useful when swordsman buffs come out, or keep going until you fail at getting parties
Swordman 2 is trash - Remake a char or you will really regret it

yeah, sword 3 is good for max painbarrier -and restrain is tasty but not necessarily useful. you should only get circle 1 or 3, imo. i wouldn’t remake the character though, just carry on.
Golden Rule: Sword 3 or nothing.
Your build is fine, just not for PVE but it is proven by many that it works in PVP. I suggest you keep your character and reroll another for PVE content.
