is it good? what’s the pros and cons for this classes path, i’m probably asking a dumb question but pls, answer with good reason
Cata3 is only worth it if youre going for Lancer otherwise every other cls is better Dps wise.
Foot Dragoon3 (e.g. Hop3) is better than CataGoon in PVE.
CataLancer2 is better than CataGoon in PVP - and sometimes better even in PVE too especially against bosses when in a good party.
Pick your poison. CataGoon in general is not in a good spot right now.

The only let-down with that build is that it has no practical synergy that other builds have to offer. Nevertheless, dragoon is a standalone class meaning it works fine as it is no matter what the base classes are, while cataphract needs lancer to maximize it’s potential. Thus, in a ‘non-competitive’ level (tbl/wb), the build is good otherwise alternative builds with synergy will do better like hopgoon, catalancer or even barbgoon.

What Rank 7 would fill in the CataLancer2?
Goon 1, Corsair 1 or anything ?
Goon1 in my opinion. Dragon soar makes up for the small amount of offensive skills in cataphract.
Most PVP builds usually go Corsair1 for Hook and Keel Hauling.
Goon1 for PVE.
There are other PVE variations too like Sw2 Hop2 for Spear Lunge and Finestra, but you’ll lose the near-100% uptime of P.Barrier and Restrain won’t be as good as the lv.10 one.
