Will this build work? sacrificing doppel cyclone for mobility, or is cata 1 absolute dumpster ?
Forget about Cata in this build and go for doppel.

Cata C1 don’t add any damage to your build and the mobility, well 1 rank for not that great mobility is not worth and if you want to pvp going Hop C3 won’t help much aswell.
What about the block penetration attribute?
40% of what? Do you invest into SPR to get block penetration?
Dude,doppel single-handedly offers the biggest dmg boost you could possibly get on rank 6 ( by a long shot).
Deeds of Valor is OP as ■■■■,gives you a +50% to physical atk,that alone would justify taking doppel.
On top of that,you get cyclone,which is an awesome AOE,and also adds slash-type dmg to your build,one thing that hoplites lack.
As a bonus,you get Double Pay Earn,which you can utilize to get extra xp and loot.
Cata on the other hand,you either go C3 with it or you don’t touch it.
