[SweetFX] SweetFX 2.0 Preset (Make the game look "better")

I find the art in Tree of Savior amazing, but I prefer more contrast and a bit more light. So I put together this SweetFX profile for TOS to bring it life.

Its very subtle, but makes a world of difference (as most SweetFX users know.) HRD, Bloom and Luma Sharpen is whats used mostly in this preset. Removes a lot of the grey tones and blur (or lack of contrast) and jacks it up a good bit without distorting the in game text. Dither and Sepia could possibly be worked into this game nicely.

I personally have most of these settings a bit higher just for my taste, but found a good medium for this preset.

PS. Yes the SweetFX/ReShade injector works with TOS. (no work around or manual injection needed!)

How to install SweetFX/Reshade and Apply the Preset!

  1. Download and Unpack Reshade/SweetFX to any folder/location. (Download @ http://reshade.me/sweetfx)
  2. Run ‘ReShade Setup.’
  3. Click the ‘Select Game’ button.
  4. Navigate to your Tree Of Savior folder within steam. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release) you are looking for the file name “Client_tos.exe.” Select the file Client_tos.exe and hit ‘Open.’
  5. Once you hit open, reshade will install all necessary files into your game directory.
  6. Download the preset @ https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/5477/
  7. Navigate to your Tree Of Savior directory once more. This time go to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\SweetFX)
  8. You can either replace the SweetFX_settings.txt that you just downloaded with the one located in …\TreeOfSavior\release\SweetFX OR you can just copy and paste the text from one text file to the other.
  9. Run Tree Of Savior. Once it gets to the intro screen you should see some text in the upper left corner of your screen. CONGRATS! You did it! Use the [Scroll Lock] key to enable and disable it.

[I would make a backup of …\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release directory so you can revert any changes SweetFX makes!]

Looks pretty awesome!

its looks great, ty man… (shiny and sharp one is with sweetfx)

PS: just need to 1 tone down gamma or brightnes and it will be perfect

If you open the SweetFX_settings.txt and alter [BLOOM] and [HDR] just a little bit, you can bring down the brightness.

Its best to have the game running, make alterations, save and it will apply the changes on the fly while the game is open.

Bumpy (wont bump often) just wanna make sure every one that wants to know, knows. =D

I don’t like it. The txt in game look much better without it.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll use that.

On a side note in your preview screenshot the tree root behind the characters looks like it’s got the sun embedded in it, bright as it is.

Keen to give this a try for the next time I play, Thankyou

how to delete it? Cant get rid of it even after removing from the folder

It is allowed by IMC, since the installation directly alters the customer?

In my game changing the config file doesn’t change anything until i restart.

what about drop fps? i lost around 30 fps. From 70 to 40 going solo without skills

pretty sure it isn’t this problem i toggled on and off several times and there isn’t any drop in fps.

How to delete this crap?

you can just toggle it off using scr lock or reinstall game like it did

Delete Common folder in Steamapps

Is possible to use EnbSeries is ToS?
