Swd 3 > Cata 3 > whats next?

Hello fellow swordsman I have a swd3>cata3 lvl 13.

What path shoud I follow for PvP / GvG ?

  • doppel > lancer
  • corsair > lancer
  • dragoon > dragoon
  • hit 15 and wait for more info.

I’m having a hard time with this…

rodelero>lancer for me why?
able to block with a shield
able to use all sklls while mount (unlike corsair)
get access to FIVE crowd control skills just in 1 circle
we dont know yet if lancer will get acces to 1h spears (or literally a lancer) or not but what i do know that weapon swapping this will be just fine, in pvp when trot is over just weapon swap and use your rodelero skills
shield charge with trot seems op and you get acces to a lot more utility in battle, you can use shield block against these annyoing scout archers and you have a lot more CC in battle.
anyway this is my pvp route and that seems to make sense for me
about stats i ahve no idea, trying to figure that out too. but a 100 con is a must IMO
btw
do NOT go doppel, you cannot use any of this skills while on mount
while you CAN use hook when mount, i dont see the synergy as much as i see it with dragoon or rodelero (or peltasta if you like)
with lancer coming, going dragoon and then lancer seems kinda pointless since the damage will fall off anyway
its better to just take a tank with utility cl@ss like pelt or rodelero

Squire3 = Arrest lvl 5-15, new meta, rekts in Battle league. Everyone immobilized.

Hooking 3 people today was a waste. People running in circles near immobilized enemies until hook duration was over. Hope people realize that this is a good window for doing some damage.

i dont have an existing cata rod, this is just an idea :smiley: my cata is lvl 100
its just that shield charge and trot LOL so op it seems to me

@haukinyau Rodelero seems like a viable option pre-Lancer, but I think it’ll synergize with the Sw1 Pel1 Hop1 build better.

Goon C2’s Serpentine attribute is too good to pass up for 2H Spear builds which I think the Sword3 was really meant to be.

Still can’t beat the 4 row of skills of my Archer3 Hunter1 Scout1 Falcon1 Cannon1 has. XD
