Hello everyone, I just wanted to hear some opinions about Swash Buckling from you guys. I have leveled several swordies to test skills and that include the provoke skill swash buckling.
Basically, my question is, is it better to max swash buckling to 15 and go C3 on Peltasta or leave it at C1?
I have already somewhat came up with an answer myself, but I wanted to hear about everyone else and their experiences.
Keep it under 5, tanking is not really reliable in this game as of yet. You don’t want to lure all the mobs unless you have a linker with good DPS team.
That’s how I felt.
I tested it a lot. Since we can’t manually reduce the level of the skill after we have learned it, I find it hard to use it while I am soloing.
Sometimes I want to use swash buckling to pull while solo so I can kill mobs faster. However, with level 15, there is just way too many mobs coming my way. That is one of the biggest problem I have with it.
Depends what you want to do, if you going full tank/support you obviously want to pull more than 10 mobs. I mean right now Peltasta is for pulling mobs, since there is no content for them to actually tank right now. In dungeons most of the melee can take some hits before the packs dies, you just take a bit smaller packs.
I don’t know about solo but if you going whatever tank build I would say atleast Peltasta C2. If you going some sort of DPS(Fencer/Hoplite etc) C1 is enough.
I had swash buckling lvl 10, it did more than enough for me to the point where i could stand and taunt, auto atk stuff to death, move slightly, taunt and repeat whilst solo lvling.
only time i disliked my taunt is when i was in the legwyn dungeon at the ice mobs stage. was in full plate at the time for my first run ~_~’’
