I was wondering why the attribute does not act like a pseudo heal, I mean it does just increase your max hp not along side with current hp. I always absent-mindedly think that I took damage. It would be nice it acted like a pseudo heal

As a tank I already feel that I’m safely resilient. Not too little, but not too much. So it doesn’t warrant something like not taking a healer into dungeons.
Our HP pool can only go up, who knows how much that 25% will be at whatever the cap is.
But as it is, it is kind of useless. Perhaps cut the amount in half and have it give you a shield that will absorb 12% of your max HP in damage before it breaks. That way, if you use it while you’re low the healer can use the time the shield buys to heal you back, or you can just use it to mitigate more damage when you pull enemies.
bonus does not even work on solo bosses, it works fine on bosses with minions. And I really pictured it working like Armlet on Dota2

I agree with OP. We need swash buckling to actually increase your current HP together with your max HP, otherwise this attribute is just useless unless playing with a healer.
The fact that you don’t get healed is fine, the cooldown is too low and you’d get healed too much too often.
However, it actually resets your current health back to your normal maximum when you refresh the buff.
So if you activate swashbuckling, then heal up to your new max HP, then activate it again, your current health will actually go down. Now this is the part that looks silly.
I think that ideally it should work like this: when activated, if you already have the buff, the timer is just refreshed and nothing else happens. Otherwise, if you’re already at max HP, your max hp is increased and you are healed to max immediately. If you’re not already at max HP when you activate swashbuckling, no heal happens.
This way it would actually give you an extra chunk of health you need to tank the stuff you’re pulling without of being a super-broken 20 second cd 25% heal.
EDIT: oh yeah, it would also help if this was an actual taunt.
I did not mean that activating swash buckling to literally heal you, a pseudo heal. Say I activated the attribute it gives me 250 additional max hp and it should also give me equivalent current hp. But when the buff goes away, the current and max bonus would also be taken away. So if I put it into combat like if I have 300/1250 hp with swash buckling attribute on and buff would go away in 5 seconds it should likely leave with 1/1000 hp.
TL:DR I dont want it as an actual heal, but just make that additional max hp increase also increase the current hp and take them both away after the buff expires.
Here is how I wish it would work.
Un-buffed
HP: 10000/10000
Swashbuckling On
HP: 15000/15000
Gets damaged 3000
Un-buffed
HP: 7000/10000
Swachbuckling On
HP: 12000/15000
Given that 5k is the HP buff given.
