Hi so im starting this thread because I dont know which its the best rank 7 option for my lancer build full pvp oriented so if some1 can give me some ideas which one could be the best will be good (maybe the best option its corsair but dont know) I read some threads about lancer class but still dont know. Thanks you very much.

well for cata lancer… corsair is meh… well at the moment you cant use jolly rogers while mounted but in ktos they changed pillaging as passive attribute. so it works. hooks are fine for pvp and you cant use that slash skill while mounted… so only thing u get is hooks and chest in future when ktos comes. also pillaging… anyways Doppel… you can use DoV and cyclone while unmounted and Double pay. + other skills.

Out of those 2 id say Doppel wins.

I built my lancer sw2>hop2>cata3>lancer since lancer uses pierce dmg > hoplite boosts its dmg nicely. also doom spear is nice now + stabbing helps.

one thing you could take is dragoon > lancer if u need some fillerskills in there. you get buffs with dragoon c1. not as good as c2 but still something. if lancer2 sux u can just go dragoon2 and possibly dragoon 3 when r10 with lancer as filler when r10 comes out.

Corsair, hands down, for me. You’re gonna need to really master hooking though, and it’s somewhat useless when you’re in a 5v5 or GvG scenario where the enemy team has lots of summons. It’s beast in 2v2.

Dragoon comes second for me. Dragon Tooth’s range is really good and useful cheapshot that utilizes restrain proc really well (could even 1shot low hp archers/wiz). You can clear a batch of caltrops and flying buttplugs with it. Serpentine has shorter range but still decent enough for some damage and disabling with Restrain. You can use Soar as filler and debuff against wiz/cleric.

  1. I dont know why doppel in a lancer pvp build… spin2win mounted?

  2. Y hook from coesa its good but only that… and jolly roger meh

  3. Im already templar with 1 of my other 6 swordsman
