As Wizards sometimes struggle with the buff slots, to special Classes that have skills with lots of casttime like e.g. Rune Caster, Surespell and Quickcast are neccessary skills.
Meanwhile, other Classes without a variable casttime don’t benefit from these skills at all.
However, since Wizards have a lower bufflimit than Clerics&Swordsmen, you may sometimes come into the situation where you have to remove other buffs in order to use such basic Wizard skills.
That’s why it would be great if some pressure could be taken off of the builds that have many buffs and need the skills (especially Surespell) by making at least one of them a second column buff that is not subject to the buff limit.
Especially with the new bufftime&AoE increase patch, it’s getting harder not to collect buffs and easier to maintain them, making buffer builds better and probably more common (e.g. Thaumaturge),so at least the basic Wizard skills should be protected from getting overwritten easily.
