Oracles are, unfortunately, quite bad in PvM at the moment. You can build one for PvP, but for PvM their support skills and “utility” skills (such as Forecast) are very lackluster.
Arcane Energy is “okay” as a support buff, but unecessary in most cases. One of the few builds that actually benefit off Arcane Energy a lot is Blind Faith Zealot, but remember Arcane Energy can still be scrolled and sold as lv 10 buff.
Change is still very buggy. Drops sometimes depend on new changed mob, sometimes on old mob before change. Getting silver jackpot mob is nowhere near that great nowadays since making money is quite easy by doing dg runs.
Forecast is a really fun skill, but not really helpful. It’s still hard to dodge attacks even seeing their AoE and in most cases it’s not like it matters anyways. Biggest advantage of this skill is the +100 evasion it gives. It’s nice to have, but you don’t really need 3 oracle circles for it.
Counterspell is okay but also unecessary in PvM. I also dislike the 10 sec duration, I feel like is too short. I preferred the 30 sec duration with longer cd version since I could rely on it for a whole boss fight.
Resetting has too much cooldown and it’s still kinda “eh” to use. It doesn’t increase mob’s chance to drop anything, just rerolls it. So it’s only used on mobs that are somewhat hard to find around (i.e. galoks, manahas mobs, etc). In 99% of cases you’re not going to wait on skill’s cooldown, tho.
New Death Sentence isn’t working on bosses. Kind of a useless skill atm since it only affects at most 5 mobs. Not like you really need to kill 5 mobs any faster than the remaining 10+ of the mob group.
Foretell is worse than it was before. Immunity is 100% now but only applies while you’re moving inside the moving circle. Honestly I’d prefer the old Foretell with just the new attribute.
Prophecy also been nerfed. Having only 25 sec duration, you need to be recasting it all the time which makes it super bothersome to use. Especially in PvM where 90% of mobs don’t actually threat your life with any status effects (except maybe Elite mobs).
Twist of Fate has damage cap of 1.5kk damage. Won’t help much on really high hp bosses (such as new Boss inside Raid). On other < 1.5kk hp bosses, it’s not like you really need Twist of Fate (dps classes kill those bosses so fast now).
Oracles were already bad, and IMC made them even worse with the new rebalance IMO. Remember the whole game content revolves around dealing damage, being a full support character goes against about every PvM content (killing mobs fast in Challenge Mode, ET floors that needs to kill mobs fast, etc). Cleric 2 with Heal lv 10 already supplies everything you need for survivability in PvM.
