So how do they work? Are they timed, Mp Upkeep per second, or summon and perm until death?
Will I be able to have both the Sorceror, Necromancer and Companion fighting pet active at the same time for an army of 1 build?
For summoner the grimoire summons take sp while summoned , but the lil fire dude does not after you summon him. I have seen videos with summons and the companions both out.
Can’t speak for necromancer, I didn’t level it last time.

All necro summons are permanent except Tower.
And yes, you can have Demon, Salamion, Bats, Shoggoth, Skeletons, Corpse Tower, Companion, Cat all active at once.
It’s not that popular compared to CBT though because [i’m lazy to explain, rolling away…]
The only summon that as a upkeep is the Sorc devil and it’s a % sp upkeep.
And the reason when Sorc+Necro isn’t as popular as it used to be is because they moved most of the important skills from sorc and necro to rank 2.

Well games always increase the upper limit as time goes on. So all I gotta do is wait while playing with my personal army.
