Summon Changes in Ktest

should we really sacrifice skeleton archers and skeleton generating corpse tower for a riding skill? damn it. i’m starting to doubt myself.

why 4 in icewall? and 5 iceblast? i thought ice blast is amazing?

edit: really? lower damage? no thanks then. i love sorc2 and if it deals more damage then yes please.

@LargeBanana i think riding with the upcoming change is more worth it because now our riding skills from the summon hit like a truck ( Templeshooter and maybe Helgasercle )

and 4 in ice wall because of more cc = more dmg for your pet and 5 in ice blast for little more self dmg against enemies … but your main dmg source is your pets therefore you go more on cc that your pet can deal your dmg :smile_cat: ( holy my english is so damn bad haha )

nah your english is perfectly fine since i can understand you perfectly.

yeah that makes a lot of sense. we got like 40 ints with the best eq . it make sense not to up any personal damage spell.

also why would our riding skill hit like a truck? it used to be a useless just cool kids thing to do. except maybe the TS skill.

@LargeBanana because with the upcoming changes our weapon matk ( or only spr i don’t know 100% ) will finally scale also with our riding skills and spr as well

what do you think of summon familiar in this build? should we even bother with salamion?

@wangpr88 you are not alone … i switched from a full pet build to --> wiz c1>pyro c2>thaum c1>sorc c2>feather c2 :crying_cat_face:

@LargeBanana i think summon familiar is still worth even without int :slight_smile: and they changed salamion’s dmg … he will scale as well with our weapon dmg … that means his attribute ( that inflicts burn ) will hit also alot harder i guess and at the end i think he will be worth it ( for a full dmg pet build )

@LargeBanana looks very good but i recommend no skill points in summon servant … because he will take buff slots for nothing … you gain even enough sp from full spr that you don’t need him … he is not worth it atm … better put the 5 points in summon familiar

Edit: and put better no points in attack ground … hold is enough and is far better than attack ground

i know right, attack ground is kind of a braindead skill.

it should be no cd very quick response skill. instead it’s kind of a laggy crap.

so no summon servant really? i mean it’s useful for the party? or is the buff actually crap?

@LargeBanana the only useful buff is the sp regen buff for a group :slight_smile:

you can go for summon servant for group utility but i would go for a only dmg build because at the end your group will finish the dungeon or ET even without your buff

i changed the build now i only have 1 point in summon servant, can;t say no to sp regen now that it works while having our summon out.

@LargeBanana i don’t know if 1 point is enough for the sp regen buff … i think you need 2 points BUT i’m not sure

in tos base it said that increase sp regen is the first thing we got from summon servant.

@LargeBanana i know … but in-game you get the sp regen buff when the cat buffs you the second time

summon familiars doesn’t count as summons right?

@LargeBanana i don’t know exactly but my full spr sorc does more dmg with a familiar with sorc c3 than my 150 int and remaining points spr sorc with sorc c2 :thinking:
