Suggestions to help solve the mess made in the market

The high-priced items on the market, which are being bought, and bought, are easy to handle in the "system log"; STAFF could pick up these items and study their prices, ban the players who abused this abnormality, and receive a monthly silver ban = Will receive - 50% silver and items from the entire system. Players who work hardest for STAFF should have the highest punishment (those who hide silver or items in other accounts).

It will not be very common "innocent players" in this case, because only today, October 1, began this "mess", then the penalty will apply only to these players, who from that day, placed items at a high price in the market, to take advantage of the abnormality.

The items that were bought from the market are easy to solve, since the silver received by the profiteers is more complicated. I, a simple player, do not know how to solve this, but I have some suggestions; check the "system log" and go deep to where the silver went, that would be a lot of work.

I do not know if it is possible to "dye" all the silver coming from these hackers, which are easy to identify, but it would be a good idea not to mingle with "innocent silver".

In the "system log" I know that it is possible to identify the amount of silver of each player of a specific date, the amount of silver that has appeared in the warehouse of a player due to a short time, must be studied;

The biggest mistake of the TOS team was that it did not stop the market when the topic "https://forum.treeofsavior.com/t/something-really-fishy-is-going-on-silute-market-infinite-silver- hacktool / 391272 "has been opened.

Do you have any suggestions other than "Rool-back"? Comment here, do not get out of focus.

…

No “log do sistema” sei que é possível identificar a quantidade de silver de cada jogador de uma data específica, a quantidade de prata que surgiu no armazém de um jogador em função de um curto tempo, deve ser estudada;

O Maior erro da equipe do TOS, foi nĂŁo ter paralizado o mercado quando o tĂłpico " Something really fishy is going on Silute market (Infinite Silver HackTOOL) " foi aberto.

Vocês tem alguma sugestão além do “Rool-back” ? Comente aqui, não fuja do foco.

Probably due to the damage done, it would’ve to be something like free diamond anvils or attribute points at half price to sink the amount of money that’s been created and flown into the hands of the legit players by now.

Fedimians Market is basically empty right now, no items above 1m.

They should close all servers for one week if needed.
If it was me I’ll check with logs and filters the average price of every item listed on market minus a cut so legit players get their silver and buyers have all purchased deleted so the economy is not affected.
Of course players selling on purpose junks to get billionaire cannot get out with saying it was a one time joke / accident so they are prone to get banned a long time or permabanned.

rollback never was an option even on the other 6 apocaliptics problems like this the server never have one, maybe due some kind of policy between IMC and STEAM anyway i though that there is some few ways to surpass this “event” without be baned and keep the money, like chose some few of the 1000 trash items and sold it for like 200m or sold an expensive equipment for over the twice of the real value. anyway the punished would be those who don’t now how be smart and exploit this correctly.

well i hope there will be a rolback because there is jsut no point in plying in this economy anymore

This is a nice idea, but I do not think it would solve less than 10% of the problem, for example, you have already given enough time to spend the silver in Attribute Points, and the players could stock the silver in some way, and after a period, put into use a large amount of silver.

The new players would have difficulties with this, for example, the silver coming from the monsters and DG would be insignificant for a long time, the amount of players would decrease. The “bots” would surely fail, that alone is the advantage.

Every minute that passes and I see the open market, the less I trust in that idea. I know it’s not an easy task to go deep into the “system log” and check how far the silver and items have been “washed”. But it is one of the only options I have seen so far, to solve the problem and not affect those who did not get involved (I think saying 20% did not take advantage or try, it’s a very high value)

They should be “washing” the silver and items at that time, so …

I think Developer and Distributor have a deal with Steam that does not allow you to “mess around” with real money items, but this is an abnormal case, and I think Rool-Back is a good option.

In addition, the ToS Team is very “nice” with player banishes, this makes players do, without fear, what they are doing now in the market.

We speak with simplicity about the “roll-back”, this would affect a lot, going back to time only market issues is not a simple task, because silver does not only circulate in the market;

And if the question is to go back EVERYTHING, we get into complications like, I cracked a Masinios Bow and I zeroed in on her potential at +7, while another player got a +21. There will be a loss of all this. A PERFECT suggestion is difficult.

When did this “DPK” happen? From there until now, it is probable that new mechanics and systems have been applied, and that they facilitate much the resolution of problems like this. To err more than once, in this way, is something really shameful.

But I think currently, with a good team work (if they have an interest in solving it), it is possible to solve this.

I see many games with such times, and they cause huge “scars”, my view of the IMC with the ToS team are not so positive (so much that I have a negative comment on Steam), even seeing the players’ suggestions towards any problem, the administrative community in general, does not value that much, BOTS for example, is an easy problem to solve, but it took time to find the solution, and along with that came more solutions of problems with the new interface that is to come. My hopes with BMI and the people here will be gone for a long time. But it’s a game that I like a lot … so much that it made me even interested in visual art.

It is a delicate matter when we refer to the change of direction, I think there are many contracts behind it. And it’s already out of topic focus.

The Solution is Rollback but i dont think imc is capable of that option, The only thing left is to thoroughly check each account, which takes time and also imc are pretty bad on that option too cause of the past record error that happen and items that are exploited are still on the storage of some accounts so not a 100% all silver will be confiscated. also the thing is they cant justify each item got sold cause alot of item are already listed for how many days in the market and some people dont go forum to know whats going on. so basically imc is mess up right now. the best exploit happened in the history of the game. rip imc

will they not have a daily backup of the server? It would be ridiculous if did not have at least a weekly backup, because it is a game with a lot of players and considerable investment, I foresee the exit of ToS from Steam.

So what exactly happened? I woke up to almost everything that i had up on market sold. Its all premium costumes and stuff that i got from wasting money on cash shop boxes.

They chose to stain the silver involved, and went deep behind the players involved, banish who was directly in the “hack”; and for those who took advantage of the situation = or will not get banned, or will be the famous “14 days and 3 Take XP”

  1. hire ninja kill those market oper
  2. call oracle to make divination, send the guilty to inquisitor
  3. offer sacrifice young maiden to Goddess laima to rollback to when peace day of tos
  4. everyone uninstall tos if imc didnt perm ban those abuser ~ this would totally solve

To be honest this is a complex problem that isn’t something you can just blame on the staff as they have to react to the situation. They are victims just like the players that didn’t profit.

Practically speaking if money becomes inflated then players will start trading by barter, probably in shards. The value of money deflate over time as players will only sell their items for high silver. Players that sell for silver will likely burn the silver on dumps like attributes, sockets, etc as the value of silver is low while the supply remains high.

The best IMC could do is then to remove everything currently on the market, implement barter trading into their market place or open item for item (but not silver) personal trades until the money supply decreases.

In the extreme situation they could also just tax the 1% or players with large amounts of silver banked to force a decrease in money supply.

if they worry about silver economy. just increase dungeons silver reward and mobs silver rewards.

If they worry about bot farmer, its way easier monitor them than trying monitor a player with silver spawn out of nowhere. think harder.

Just a wild idea, could be improved or not.

Maybe they should temporarily or maybe permanently remove the auction house until they are 100% sure that the silver hack issue won’t happen again. I personally don’t like it, when I can’t negotiate with the seller or throw in some items for a more satisfying trade. Players also undercut each other most of the time.

As of now the main focus should be to freeze the game’s abundant supply of fake silver. Make silver a currency for NPC stuff etc. only while adding megaphones and other items to the NPC shop (simple silver sink), promote barter trades between players and make a vending exclusive area (only area where trade is allowed) where they can display all their goods for all to see, where browsing players can easily report if they find something or someone unusual there and then the GMs can inspect personally.

Problem with going for the barter method is that only(?) shards and nucle/sierra powders will most likely have value. It’s time to maybe improve on the crafting part of the game where multiple ingredients will be required to make equipment. As of now only equipment you’ll ever see on players are random stat equipment. You rarely encounter players using low level equips with unique effects. If only there were more choices but that’s a different issue for another time.

OFF TOPIC:
When I first played this game, I was impressed with all the recipes and materials that were dropping from monsters. I thought this game was going to be fun for hunting different parts of the world (real exploration and adventure), looking up the online database for clues on where to hunt this and that. I’m a little disappointed cause what happened was I got stuck with unrewarding quests (lazy npcs/fetch me that quests/I can’t move from this place so do this for me oh revered savior!) and doing instanced dungeons instead.

Stat system and class system would have been better if they added unique effects to equipment. Have 200 con and unlock this effect. Have 200 Dex gain movement speed. Be Archer 3 to unlock bonus 50 dex. Be rogue 2 to unlock 15% chance to register as back attack. Have 3 circles of scout or have max level flare shot to unlock INSTANT FOREST FIRE skill etc. More builds could have been made, lower rank classes can be easily made viable and people won’t be limited to level cap maps while they’re hunting for crafting materials.
