Hmm, we kind of already have Druids and Sorcerers that use enemy skills in a way. Could be interesting though.
wouldn’t work because if blue mage could learn any skills from enemies you could just pick and chooses the best mage skills from enemies then there would be no point in being any other mage. You would have to be limited to 1 copied skill at a time much like stalker and at that point what else would they have for skills? Also this mechanic is most likely on the datamined MIME class.
Maybe we’ll see what happens with it then 
I think he meant something more like strengthening your own existing skills and mastering it maybe…
Btw we will have Mimic who will be able to…mimic… others skills somehow sometime…
