So… I came across a reddit post recently. It seems like the bots are still wildly running loose despite of the bot banning feature. I have personally been leveling an alt recently and have encountered a metric ton of bots in Tenet Church as well.
It seems to me that while most of us are complaining, FEW actually took the effort patrol botting hotspots and reporting them. Thus resulting in a small sample size for the RII, bot reporting system to grow.
I would like to suggest adding a small but appreciated incentives for the whole community based on their RII. Something along the lines like 0.1% item drop rate increase per reported bot successfully banned, capping at 5% per month or 3 months?
These bonuses are reset every season to get the community actively reporting bots. Similarly, incorrect reports can affect your drop rate bonus like how it does to your RII, but maybe cap it so that it doesn’t go bellow 0% in terms of bonus increment.
