Suggestions for the free character slot we got

So, we got a free character slot! Yay! So, I have no idea what to make to fill it! Boohoo!

So, yeah, jokes apart, I could use some suggestions of characters to fill that slot. I honestly don’t know what kind of class I want here, but preferably something that doesn’t cost an awful lot to gear.

Here’s what I currently have, so you guys know what not to suggest.

A2 > QS 3 > Falco 3 (Probably my “main” in a way).
Cleric 3 > Sadhu 3 > PD2 (Play this one as much as the Falconer)
Wiz2 > Linker 2 > Thauma 2 > FF 2 (On the process of levelling this one for farming)
Highlander 3 > Squire 3 > Shinobi (For base camp)

My vote is for Squire. Though I would just ignore r8 and leave it at r7.

Base Camp is really nice.

You save a lot on potions, and can sell them for additional revenue, plus another store option.

Ah, no, you misunderstood. Those four are characters I already have. I’m looking for suggestions on a fifth character.

noob question…what is the use of squire’s basecamp?

Base Camp lets you open personal storage out in the field maps, where ever you chose to place it.
Also gives you 20% buff duration per skill level (maximum of 200% at c3), and lets you cook those nice foods!
