[Suggestion] True Analog Controls for Controller?

I’ve had this issue with TOS since the beginning back in international closed beta tests.

First of all, I play exclusively using controller. It’s one of the main reasons I love playing TOS. Jump attacking, evading and overall questing is such a breeze using a controller. It makes playing Cleric / Swordsman and even some Wizard classes an absolute blast.

However one thing I wish the game had was true analog controls.

Right now if you use a controller you’re stuck using only 8 directions, even if you have an analog controller that can do 360 degrees. Right now only mouse mode can move around freely.

It becomes very apparent during certain maps how limited 8 directions is when you can’t even walk up a ramp by holding up and right.

Also skill placement suffers too. Many skills you have to align up constantly because you’re limited to 8 directions.

So my suggestion is that IMC could make use of the analog stick and enable us to walk around in more than 8 directions.

We know the game supports it because if you use mouse mode you can already walk freely in any direction so I see it as a quick trip to coding and enabling it for analog controllers.

Make it happen!

I might just be the only one who has noticed this, but trust me if we had these controls all you mofo’s playing with controllers would be 10 times happier.

No longer would you miss that small as hell melee attack because the monster is in the blind spot of those 8 directions.

No longer would your DPS be hindered by these old controls!
