Good day IMC,
In ragnarok, a big part of the gameplay impact was the soul it had.
This soul is defined by how players are able to interact with the world besides their characters and monsters.
Currently, there is a Very limited way we can interact with the environment. In RO, priest’s were able to /memo any map in the game with specific coordinates. This allowed players to have “Hang out” areas where they can take a break and enjoy the aesthetics and soundtrack of the game.
In addition to this, players were able to ROTATE the camera to see different perspectives of the world around them.
One last thing, the first thing that put me off was when I tried to sit at the very first bench I saw. Nope, I can’t sit on it, I cannot in any way interact with objects in the TOS world, and by adding these Small improvements, you can greatly enhance player experience!
Jump is great, but give us more room to breathe!
Thanks for your time in reading this IMC!
These aforementioned elements made a HUGE impact on immersion.
Restricted trading is fine, as we can still trade important items and gear we might want to donate to our friends. But there is simply no other avenue for which we can interact with the world you have so beautifully crafted for us.
#1: Allow dievs to at least have a /memo function of maybe 10 saves
#2: Allow camera rotation, inclusive of lateral pan, so we can appreciate your work of art
#3: Allow players to sit on benches, a nice park with lots of seats would be nice too!!
#4: You can even go as far as to sell “Hang out” real estate where players can easily warp to! with the ability to add maybe 1 or 2 item selling npcs, or the blacksmith! ^^
#5: This might be farfetched, but I would suggest adding Joint Gestures. For example, giving another player a good “Pat in the back”, or perhaps even a hug for in game couples ^^ this is your universe IMC! you can do anything you want and the Sky is the Limit!
