Hi I would like to talk about and have your opinion about one idea that for me really needed for gamers and devellopper.
This have been try by blizzard on diablo 3 but It doesn’t work and i have some idea about why. It’s about the action house with real money.
First they have made the gold saleable and that a big mistake.
Then stuff saleable.
The price of craft component where really to expensive like 0.25 euro (i’m french) for something that you can have by hundred in 1 hour.
But this thing can fit really good on this game and i will try to explain how , in my point of view , it can work.
First gold must not be buyable it will be too much pay to win because of the skill rune.
The think that can be saleable must be craft component , potion , and costume . Why not some stuff but only white. Think that must not be saleable are blue , purple and orange stuff , recipes , its make the game go to pay to win i if they became saleable . For me , but that my point of view , stuff must not be trade , or maybe restain this like trade bow level 75 versus sword level 75 at same quality (white , bleu …)
For the component at 0.25 euro , instead of doing that (if they really need a minimum price) maybe that people that choose how much for this price like , instead of 1 for 0.25 impose , you can put a hundred for 0.25 like that thats people choose the price instead of a impose price.
And finally things that can be buy with real money can’t be sell with gold.
I know what people must think its make a pay to win game, that wrong but what the difference between this and people that paid for rush ? there a lot like player that will can live from they passion , be a good things versus chinese farm made that people that live in a small room forced to play for hours and beaten.
And maybe make some job payable with reel money for player that can’t play a lot because of they job , like taking controle of a account for a hours of rush when there at work
For me this must be done for player , like that we can create a perfect alternative economic system where raw material are infinite with a little ecologic impact.
To sum up for me things must be put like that:
-No gold buy with real money and untradable between player
-With real money , you can buy/sell craft component , costume , hat , recipe of hat , white stuf and potion
-With gold you can buy/sell recipe , upgrade , skill rune
-stuff untradeable , even on action house

Dunno if you can check my Economy post from my profile, but i don’t think they would make gold buy-able. Im pretty sure you will buy, with real money, Garrison Upgrade (more charas, maybe shared storage?) and cool, non tradeable costumes (LoL skin’s style) and more of “convenience” stuff.
i think you mistaken about what i mean.
I talk about player trading item for real money in the game , not the service givenby the game you see ?
Like that passionate player can live from the game and the game take taxes on this trade to grow up.
If this work , people can stay on the game much longer because they can earn money and the game can grow because of this taxes.
I think this can work because we can see that there is a real trading with gold farmer annonce on diablo 3 , wow , etc… and if the player have this in there hand , that can compete with this inhuman trading machine.

In my original post i talk about what have been done bad.
You see , i have tried to explain how this must be done , for not making the game gone to pay to win , if the is other game that have done that , they must have allowed the stuff to be sold on the real money action house , and that a big mistake.
I can’t understand why people don’t want this because this is positive for player and game , for player , they can win there live on game and the game have a good ressources to expand the game

I don’t think we want to go down the route where real money affects certain aspects of the game. Even if some of those things can be gotten with in-game currency, it does give a disadvantage to those who don’t spend money.
Right now real money in the game should only be used for things that don’t highly influence parts of the game. Using real money in the game’s auction house as well would be somewhat unfair since real money has more value than in-game currency.
not really because you can earn money too if you find craft componant and sell it on Action house , as I think there people that spend money to go faster (or doesn’t have time to play) and other that sell .
I have imagine that system for this game because basic stuff are good , at level 86 (i stop at this level becaue i don’t want to be lazy about the game) with white stuf i can farm on level 100 map easly. So that really for confort , because some people can like the game , but don’t want to do bashing , on this beta rate are x10 , so the pexing is much longer then the game is looking like now.
The real problem is different country money , as arkraven told me on private . For this you must limiting the economic to the country , because we don’t earn egual money on all the country , someone in south america will have less money in a mouth then on north.(maybe on serveur in korea , then if this work in korea put it on america etc …)
One other problems are bot.
Maybe try this in one serveur and let the game like it was now on the other serveur , but for me it must be done , job are running out IRL , so we must find a way to work differently in the fucture and MMO can be a new way to create job and economic.
For what you say , maybe limit the money people can injected in the game like X dollars a mouth ? (i don’t really thinks this can be good but why not if there’s enought player)
