Adding a unique name to a crafted item is cool but when its main purpose is only for cosmetic, its kinda hard to appreciate it when your weapon/armors name has a ( ) parenthesis on it. A lot of people just doesn’t bother naming their crafted item and some people buying items even demanding it to be a “clean” (no name added) item. So with that here is my suggestion:
1st. Make the names an obtainable rewards from various quest or achievements. 
2nd. Remove the ( ) parenthesis on the weapon name. 
3rd. To avoid confusion, make the Prefix/Suffix colored. (Different Colors will be available depending on your Rank. eg: Rank1 = Green, Rank2 = Blue, Rank3 = orange and so on) 
I believe with this, there will be a lot more players naming their items and no more ugly names like >>> “Enril’s(Archmage Bangle)”.
