[Suggestion]In-game chat group

Hello IMC Devs team,
I’d like to propose an idea for in-game communication, called Group Chat.
It works just like the name, a chat room for a group of people who were invited to by its creator.
This idea is from another game that I’ve played.
Here’s the example for the interface.

The chat group shows name, area that member’s at, channel they’re on

The function is really simple as the group serve no purpose other than a chat room. You can ‘assign admin’ (to ban/kick/invite people).

Once a person is in a chat group, a new tab appear on their chat windows.

Why do we need it?
When a group of friend what to talk together in-game, they don’t have to be in a same party, or a same guild (only Templar can create guild anyway) or they don’t need to use 3rd party messenger outside the game. It’s more convenient to chat directly in game.
Further more, one person can be in many different chat groups that serve many purpose such as Raid Group, Role Play Group, Friend Group, etc. That would add a nice touch for the game and importantly, it will connect people.

I hope IMC’s Dev Team will consider this feature and has it implemented.
It would do more good than bad to our game. ;p
Thanks.

Sounds like a good idea. An in-game chat would be more convenient as long as it worked with Mic’s and had a sound quality equal to raid call/team speak/skype/ventrillo. Otherwise I think people would still trade off the constant alt tabbing for a better quality of sound. It’s a hard thing to add into the game, and probably something they will only consider after seeing it’s success, but it would be an awesome function if it worked well. Other features could be added, such as quick button changes to change channels, from a guild mic chat to a party mic chat to a pick and choose mic chat like the example given.

I like the idea~ It just needs to be intuitive and easy to understand on top of it all…
