[Suggestion] Hidden Skills

Hi everyone,

Okay we’ll have “hidden classes”, that’s cool.
But what about hidden skills? I mean real hidden skills, unlockable after a list of unknown requierements.
May sounds like a bunch of OP skill but it will be fun to search how to unlock them…

If IMC likes this idea, they don’t have to tell us the requierements, they can just say something like “There are hidden skills too, but you have to find out how to have them”.

What do you think about that?

Something like Kirito’s Dual Wield :stuck_out_tongue:But for real though, I would like to see some hidden skills like “Must have 2 points in [skill] and [amount] stat points invested in [stat].”

although something like this i believe would be best in classes Tier 4+. this way, there’s none for the basic classes so that people don’t feel obligated to go 3x basic class for the hidden skill.

Sounds like fun aha, possibly unlocked after leveling two or more certain skills to a certain point spanning across different classes :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, the Dual Wielding won’t be a hidden possibility, we’ll have the Corsair/Shinobi classes :stuck_out_tongue:
But that’s the idea. Something more like Yuuki’s Mother’s Rosario Skill (to stay in SAO universe ;))

This one is quite harder to datamine than hidden classes, like it…

i’m sure someone said there where hidden skills back when they did the very first cbt…

there needs to be “hidden” lots of things. hidden skills. hidden classes, hidden class ranks that go beyond c3 or skip from 1 to 3, hidden patch notes, hidden areas without maps. Sine earned some completely random. Throwing some chaos into planned builds and playtime is always interesting. Would keep forums active with “what just happened here?” posts.

I’d love that! I mean, it would be like an ultra customization of your character…

On regards to SAO’s Kirito “Dual Wielding” I see it more like this .gif than anything else…

And it would trully be amazing that those ‘hidden skills’ activate on a very strict basis, like the high-DEX build or the hight-CON build with tanky skills or the… … you got it.

i don’t think in hidden skills… but hidden atributes…

Well there is skill synergies, that aren’t listed anywhere or on any tool tip, and not a whole lot of people don’t know many of them or much about them.

One from the recent trailer is Monks palm of the goddess into deprotrected zone.

Another is Sadhus astral body into Krivis’ Zalciai results in a permanent (while in astral form) buff that’s not listed. There’s plenty more :sunny:

They probably need a new name after a month or two.
While I don’t mind ‘hidden’ concepts, I’ve gotta admit… it usually isn’t hidden well enough to warrant it.
It’s more of a gimmick puzzle(?) mini-game, rather than a special property.

One guy figures it out, tells others… and most anyone can generally figure out and imitate.
If that’s really all it will be… I think I’d just like it to be publicly known from the start and worked on as a concept to improve variety in builds. *(this is really just a personal variant of the skill combo system)

I love this idea and I know about skill synergise.
But hidden skills do not necessarily have to be a combat/buff skills. These skills can be used by all classes and you can only get it from a hidden quest.

Maybe something simple like first aid skill, trick dead, prank, firework etc.

@kaixermax I would like to encourage you to watch a certain anime called “Sword Art Online”.

You’ll face the hype for “hidden skills” then :wink:
