[Suggestion] Event to Promote TOS and Increase Player Base

1st Event Suggestion
Happy Holidays Greetings Screenshot

  1. Players will submit a screenshot of the game with a text “Happy Holidays from Tree of Savior”.
  2. TOS admin will select good screenshots for preliminaries and the pictures they have selected will be posted on TOS Facebook page.
  3. Players and other FB users will then like and share these pictures. The top 3 winners will be decided based on the numbers of likes for each picture.

Reasoning:
I learned TOS from a friend when he posted a screenshot of his character in Facebook. Word-of-mouth or referral marketing is the best form of advertising. We have different religions so “Happy Holidays” is a more appropriate greeting than “Merry Christmas”.

To encourage players to join and really give their best effort, TOS admin must give good rewards. I’m thinking 10,000 TP for first prize or more (rank #1 guild gets 6,000 TP per week so 10k TP from an event should not be hard for TOS admin). Or maybe even a unique title or unique head costumes as rewards. Or maybe even the ability to choose any 2 enchants for an existing head costume which the winner chooses.

2nd Event Suggestion
Christmas Song Music Video Making Contest

  1. Players will submit a recorded video in-game with any Christmas song as a background music. The video may have a story line or may just be a simple Christmas carols songs.
  2. TOS admin will select good videos for preliminaries and the videos they have selected will be posted on TOS Facebook page.
  3. Players and other FB users will then like and share these videos. The top 3 winners will be decided based on the numbers of likes for each video.

I’m not sure if I’ve explained the 2nd even clearly but I can post a sample video from another game if that’s allowed.

The number of players in TOS is decreasing so let’s all help advocate this good game. It’s true that the game and admins have shortcomings but nothing in this world is perfect. We must accept the things we cannot change but first we must change the things we cannot accept.

I will shot you down right now for your own good, no event will bring players, this game is in bad shape due to incompetence of staff or company or whoever is in the command, they won’t fix any bug (at least in our version) so soon, bots are a plague in certain areas, now even players who “where legit” use bot and macro software, IMC don’t ban those in the field, but only the easy spotted ones in cities spamming GS sites.

Game will become a P2W + RNG cash grabber soon.

So there is no need to promote, unless i misread you and you where being sarcastic or just trolling.

not a bad idea for me though.

let the news spread how bad the current server is. its either the server dies, so we can all move onto different server. or they’ll finally wake up and do something about iToS.

i prefer moving to jToS though. having to chat with [loli] ingame is more than enough

Isn’t JToS IP Blocked? I downloaded and when i try to enter the game i keep getting Nexon Auth Error.

I am not affirming it, i am wondering if it is or it was just Nexon’s crap, as i saw in their forums some other people complaining about the same thing.

Some sort of recruit a friend event is pretty common in mmo’s
I don’t see why they couldn’t do one here too

even gold seller in klapeida city give special discout for guild bulk buying
