Suggestion About Report System

The report thing is good but how bout making it available to report someone whose also shouting?
second suggestion making the spammer who gets reported more from more than 20 player gets penalty , mute for 1 day so the staff have the time to check the accuracy of the report then ban, this way the staff have their time and the player wont get annoyed if gold seller keeps spamming and the mute must be for the whole team ofc not just for the char

as for the ones whose using hacking/botting make a function in report that distinct spammers from botters , when botter gets reported he gets surveillance either from GM or by developing a system that tape him for 5 seconds or more and send to GM .

i wana see what you all think bout these ideas

Reporting someone from the shout chat is a good idea, but the mute isn’t, specially with all the America vs BR wars that happen all the time i can see a lot of innocents getting muted.

there should be penalties and rewards also for the players who misuse this system or who do it right

Penalties yes, rewards no. I bet there would be enough people who would do it anyway and rewarding might encourage too trigger happy reporting or creating your own bot accounts to report for the rewards, or even buying bots to report from gold sellers.

And I suppose you expect the regular populace to make decissions on whether something is against the rules when being said in shout chat and apply an instant mute without no policing ever causing harm to the player’s enjoyment of the game while the GMs take action on whether it was warranted or not.

It’s easy to verify whether a player was botting or not via the report bot system, it’s hard to verify what was going in the chat and takes a larger time investment and making decissions as a moderator would, during this time, and even not counting the time the GMs actually get to the report an innocent player may be suffering from an injustified penalty imposed on them by a system that wasn’t meant to be abused, but was possible.

To this extent 20 ppl would get punished by the GMs for false reports, but then they could argue that for them the reports were legit.

See where this is going? It’s unnecessary to directly apply punishment to a player based on another player’s (or multiple’s) judgement, it may be slower for a GM to come and do something about the reports, but it’s fairer for the playerbase.

sounds okay.

No, just no.
People create guilds, guilds have many people, and then they can pick on people they don’t like.
This is handing guilds free game administrative powers, wich is wrong.
But the penalty i hear you shouting.
when it goes f2p - create a few accounts and do it.
