Sugestion to make grind more funny and worth it

Some sugestions:

1 - Root Crystal should restore sta for warrior classes, mana to mage / priest classes and hp for archer classes. About 20% for mana/hp should do.

2 - Present mechanics for bosses to make them less robotic and direct damager. And make repeatable bosses for extra XP instead of field.

3 - For god sake increase the exp gained solo by 50% of recent value and party xp by 25%. Not everyone wants to play party. Please listen at least to this plea.

4 - Increase number of channels and/or mobs per map, make crowded maps mobs not aggro

5 - Make any class able to use shield sub-action, but much worse than tankers. Mages are pure paper, solo mages suffer too much :frowning:

What do these ideas resolve.

1 - Mages usually run out of MP. Archers get hit and loses HP. Grinding, you should use all urpotions. This sug lessens its impact on all these classes on this aspect.

2 - Make bosses more fun. Also, another source of XP if areas too crowded.

3 - Makes the time spent on the game feel more worth it. Grinding on level 40~50 as a warrior for 4 hours+ to level ont or two times is not funny.

4 - Another sugestion to lessens crowded maps impact. Another thing to think may be solo maps, an map instance for only the player.

5 - Increases survability of mages and any use-shield class.

Exp solo is fine right now, but I agree with the bonus exp for party and numbers 1, 2

Please don’t say stuff like this. It’s just complete lies.
If it really took you 4 hours, i’m legitimately wondering if you were chewing on your keyboard for 3 hours.
Another question would be why are you grinding at level 40? in this beta it’s pretty much impossible to get to that level without skipping a handful of quests.

A lot of classes run out of MP, Get SPR, Mana Pots and you’ll be okay. Mages do deserve a larger mana pool though.

If fun == more difficult then yes.

A solo instance would be cool, i liked the ones in aion.
Would need the exp toning down though.

I prefer player skill over unlimited free heals
However your suggestion have their own place

1 & 5- Like Tera and BnS, content is meant to be soloed which is why Bosses drops Orbs that regenerate HP or Mana. This takes away the dependency for a Healer or Tank.

2 & 3 are one and the same, however I do not like the idea of reuse/recycle where everyone is forced to kill the same looking bosses with the same exact mechanics repeatedly. What ToS needs is to add more mechanics on bosses making it more skill based, forcing player to play the game with every talent they have as an intelligent humanoid entity. Once they succeed, the prize is worth it. They get instant levels (not exp), so as other goodies.

4 - How about No? We don’t need instant spawn mobs with crowded maps. What we need are better Bosses with better prizes.

How to solve grinding is not add more grinding. Grinding by itself is a problem. It shows weakness in developer skills and creativity. We as players is responsible for sharing ideas and help the developers improve the game. How about Suggest the mechanics itself? Make your own Boss? Make your own encounter?

This will help ToS more. More mechanics means More fun. You play the game, and grinding is NOT playing at all.
