[Sugestion] To avoid more hate

There’s a simples solution, to both that xenophobic hate and language barrier:

One rule, just a simple one: From now on, public chats have to be write on English only.

Its an international server, that’s obvious that English is the language that should to be used, there’s no gray area about it.

I’ve played a game before (not sure which one, I’ve been playing mmos for like, 15 years), that this was the #1 rule, you can speak in other languages, there’s a guild chat, whispers, damn you can even create your own chat, leave the public chat “English only”, and no one have to hate or discriminate ever again.

Just a suggestion, not the best one, I think, but it’s pretty solid in my opinion… easy to follow, easy to punish.

Also, English is not my native language, so… fell free to correct me if I made any “OMG THAT’S A BIG MISTAKE” mistake…

why people is so worried about which language is other people speaking… they think they are talking bad about their moms or something?

I can sort of answer this, some people who don’t understand English see our bad words associated with different races/nationalities.

Whereas people who don’t understand Portuguese see well, Brazilian racist remarks and insults… we’ve seen the words used plenty so we know at least what those ones mean.
