This is a short guide that aims to introduce the Priest class to newcomers to the game.
Priest is a class that is very supportive, and is viable for any content the game has to offer, be it PvE or PvP. For its skills, we have a good mix of healing, buffs, debuffs and utility spells.
It benefits a lot from SPR, because its buffs scale with it. Because of that, its automatic stat distribution has a big focus on SPR(65%), with less points into CON(15%) and INT(20%).
For its skills, we have the following:
Aspersion
Aspersion is a party wide buff that increases physical defense.
Tooltip

It scales with SPR and character level, and unlike what the description says, it does not do damage to enemies. Before re:build, this skill was not worth the points because pardoner shops would sell the same buff, but now, you can stack your own Aspersion with a Pardoner’s Aspersion to get a big increase in physical defense.
Monstrance
Monstrance is debuff-type skill, which drastically lowers enemy evasion.
Tooltip

It has no scaling with any of your stats, but it does have an enhance attribute, which increases the evasion reduction from 50% to 80% depending on your attribute level.
The skill debuffs the closest target to you for 30 seconds, but it’s range is quite small. While not very useful in PvE, this skill is very good at PvP, and is a huge counter to Scouts that rely on evasion to survive.
The debuff can be provented with Oracle’s Prophecy and Plague Doctor’s Beak Mask and Methadone
Blessing
Blessing is a buff skill, that increases all damage dealt to targets.
Tooltip

The skill is not only party-wide, but it can also buff people from outside your party (up to 7 people in total, as long as you buy the “Blessing: Additional Buff” attribute). Just like Aspersion and Sacrament, it can stack with Pardoner shop buffs. This skill also scales with SPR and character level.
Turn Undead
Originally from Paladin, this skill was moved into the Priest class in re:build.
Tooltip

It deals Holy damage in front of you, with a chance to one-shot Demon and Mutant monsters. Just like the tooptip says, it has synergies with Malleus Maleficarum and Engkrateia. Putting more points into this skill will not only increase its damage, but also its AoE attack ratio.
Ressurection
This skill allows you to ressurect a party member who has died in combat. When using the skill, a circular menu similar to Heal opens, and allows you to select which party member to ressurect. Increasing the skill lvl will increase the % of HP the revived player will have, at 10% per skill level.
Tooltip and Menu

Sacrament
This is a party wide buff that adds an extra damage line to auto attacks. Just like Aspersion and Blessing, you can stack with Pardoner’s shop Sacrament, resulting in +2 dmg lines when using auto attacks. This skill scales with SPR and character level. Just like its description says, Sacrament cannot be used together with Chaplain’s Last Rites
Tooltip

Revive
Buff type skill, which prevents death once for anyone with the buff. After it prevents death, it gives back some Hp (scaling with skill level), gives a few seconds of invincibility (again, scaling with skill level), and then the buff dissapears. By default, this skill does not have 100% uptime, but it has an attribute that increases the duration. The increased duration does not apply for Team Battle League or GvG, but it does work on Gem Feud.
Tooltip

Mass Heal
Healing type skill, heals a huge area around the caster in an instant. This skill has a very high healing % and because its cooldown is so low, it is one of the best healing skills in the game. The “Heal: Linger” attribute from Cleric works for Mass Heal too
Tooltip

Mass Heal animation/visual effect with the Priest Special Costume:
The class also has a passive attribute that increases carry weight by +200 which is worth buying, since the class has to carry Holy Water, Holy Powder and Gyslotis to cast Aspersion, Blessing and Sacrament respectively

Its also worth noting that the Priest Special costume changes afk stance, combat stance, running animation when in combat, Mass Heal animation and visual effect.
About skill distribution
- Mass Heal, Revive and Ressurection are must max skills regardless of what content you are planning to do. These skills are too good, not maxing them would be a waste.
- Aspersion is also really good for both PvE and PvP.
- Monstrance is very good, but only for PvP. If going for PvE only, put the 15 points into any other skill.
- Blessing and Sacrament are ok in PvE, but not very good at PvP.
- Turn Undead feels very underwhelming, but if you want you can put points here.
Overall, the class can make any character into a good healer/support. However, it has almost no Dps, and relies on other classes for damage. It is also viable for any PvE or PvP content, and goes well with any other cleric classes, its very versatile.
