I suggest you start watching a stream of someone else playing then. You’d have to do absolutely nothing and there would be even more things happening on the screen and development of the character while you’re afk 
Edit: And yes, bots would start using this too if it was allowed. I will bother reporting every single one of you among other botters if I spot you on the game :3
Take care with that. There is a police bot system that detects when you spam the same key constantly. You probably will lose all your progress.

there is nothing stating automated play this way is against the terms of service so its safe to say this is allowed.
it wont get you very far in the higher level maps anyway so i guess thats another reason they dont care if you jam the z key
You think gold farmers with multiple accounts wouldn’t just start using this if it’s considered safe way to bot? While it might be less efficient, it would be also safe if it was allowed. And you wouldn’t need to farm on that high level maps to make it profitable if you multi account bot.
im not too sure about that, doesnt the grim reaper show up also if you do this for too long? as anti afk measure

It’s possible to do that, but what’s the point? There isn’t any good spot for it currently anyway.

Thrust me guys i hate bots…and afk + Z is nothing compared to bot…bot program are more sophisticated and some even uses aoe hack.
AFK + Z is just spamming the auto attack at a particular spot and hope the mobs will spaawn…and yes it only works at low lvl.
At higher lvl mob u need skill and movement to prevent mob from killing in which the Z button wont help
Well, sadly it does work in higher maps. This is due to players being able to hop up in some maps out of reach of the melee mobs (and sometimes out of “bounds” so that even ranged mobs ignore them).
AFK+Z is designed to work this way because it has worked this way from the start. After a year of countless posts they’ve chosen to leave this in-game as-is. However those z-axis spots that players can safely stand on and swing away… those need to be addressed. There should be no reward where there is no risk. Or where the risk is just that a psycho or cryo or someone sees them and decides to kill them himself.
And yes, this would be exactly the reason why gold sellers might bother using it if it was allowed.
While one account wouldn’t earn that much in a day, running dozens of accounts at the same time every day would start making it easy way to make large amounts of silver. And what a nice greeting it would be for new players when low level areas were infested with high level players greedy for some extra silver killing most of your mobs before you manage to deal more than one hit on them.
One such a player wouldn’t be a problem but if it becomes a common and allowed habit, there would be dozens or hundreds of them on any given time.
Sure, 10k per day with 100 bots running and you will get 1 million per day!!!
