I was stuck at the barracks with nothing on it…

Relaunched the game, stuck at the barracks with “Connecting to server…”

First time I was stuck with a “connecting to server” message. After restarting the game, I am still stuck, but the message is gone.

Same issue here. Upon logging in to Steam and launching the game. I push Start, which then send me to the “Barracks/Inn room” and there is an hourglass turning with just the message “Connecting to server.”

Have tried a fresh launch and force shutdown. Neither has worked in fixing the problem.

Old news, i have yet to see a single game that actually works the moment the servers open.

I logged in at 7:33 P.M. PST and was stuck with the “Connecting to server” message, then the message disappeared and I was left with the empty barracks. I closed the game and tried again, and so far, I tried to let it just run to see if it’s just really laggy. The title screen song has run through one full time, and is about half way done right now. I’m guessing it’s just a high volume of people trying to log in at once? I figure that’s how it always starts.

Similar problem: stuck at “connecting to server”. Probably too many people logging on at the same time. Anyways, going to wait for a while first.
