Stuck after level 120+

So I’m 124 now and I need 127 for the next quest line.
The best place I found to grind out would be at Mage’s Tower 5F and that sucks.
Talking to a friend, he said he got stuck at 128, needing 130 for more quests.
Are we missing something or it’s supposed to be this bad? Does it get better after 130?

You’re just going to have to grind.

It gets a lot worse after 130 though. Trust me, Main Chamber dungeon is brutal and mobs after that jump in difficulty to absurd levels.

Most people are getting stuck in the 130s because mobs take minutes to kill but can 2 shot you, there is nowhere to grind and there isn’t enough quests.

That is a lie. Koreans have been complaining about the grind since the last reset which also reduced exp rates.

People saying levelling is too fast are still low levelled. Grinding isn’t even an issue until you hit level 130+.

That’s not true either lol. If you’re referring to fansites, which include players that have played on the Korean servers (and happen to be American) then you’re walking into players with culture shock. Also, regarding the last NA test, there’s a post on the exp rates and it was speculated that the exp rates were intentionally extremely low to keep players out of high level content given that the content wasn’t prepped yet. This is just a dispute between players that enjoy grinding and players that don’t want a ‘grinding simulator’. The post I mentioned can be found on this forum btw. Also it’s important to keep in mind that the level cap for CBT2 is 250 (confirmed in the FAQ), and there’s a tidbit that mentions that the level cap may be increased for official release, so I wouldn’t get your panties in a bunch. If we’re going to have a level cap of 250 or 300, then the grind past 130/140 will most definitely be cushioned a bit, I can’t imagine it not. The most important thing to keep in mind, Do you want a level cap that it takes a week to reach, or 2+ months? This cbt has been out for less than a week and players are 130+, and the grind continues to get steeper, 1 1/2 months of grinding for around 220-240 seems likely and honestly I can’t imagine there being any complaints about that given the type of atmosphere this game delivers.

people just want to hit max level after one weekened, then complain about lack of content. : P

Also to OP, Yeah- you pretty much just have to grind. Kick away that solo mentality, reach out to other people and group up.

You really, really need to learn to read and stop making stuff up.

The FAQ does not mention a level cap, so I have no idea where you pulled “level 250” from. IMC did state the client is the same as the one Korea are using, which has a level cap of 200.

Also, you all need to quit giving opinions until you educate yourself a little bit more. If you’re not at least level 130 you have no legitimate comments on grinding because you’ve not been forced to do any yet.

You’re posting information on a fansite about the first CBT that happened in Korea almost 2 years ago. How exactly is this relevant anymore?

The level cap is 200 and has been for over a year now.

So the lvl cap was 250 for cbt2 and instead of going with the possibility for raising it, that was mentioned, they lowered it? Also explain the 400+ zones. Also wasn’t Korean CBT3 last May/June? (2015).

Yes. Korean CBT1 had a level cap of 250. During Korean CBT2 it was reduced to 200. Korean CBT3 is still happening right now.

Areas over level 200 are inaccessible. There are no warp points to them. The world map has areas up to level 600, doesn’t mean the level cap is 600 for CBT.

The Korean CBT was extended indefinitely. It’s still happening and if you actually looked around you’d see this. Hell, there are posts on these very forums talking about it and people posting patch notes and changes.

You really need to educate yourself before you step into a discussion.

What he is saying is fact. You being ignorant of that fact does not change this. His bluntness does not change this. There is no need to be kind to someone who cannot inform themselves at all. Where the hell do you think steparu’s current videos are even coming from? You already linked his site man

I was stuck too and had to grind mage tower. I think I know why this happened. The game handholds you to a certain level and then stops without telling. You were lacking experience because you missed some content in which you were supposed to gain it. But now you cant because youre overleveled. Im talking about dungeons and those missions. Gaining experience there (and grind in dungeons is top) and saving experience cards for later would yeild you not having this problem…

i doubt that …generations change, maybe KR likes those brain dead grinding system but in western market that ■■■■ doesn’t fly …name 1 game that’s doing well with a grind system RO style…go ( you can’t say ToS ) a lot of ppl don’t agree with it…hell even im thinking about going back to RO instead …at least that has actual aoe spells that clear waves unlike here where i first need to sync my position with the server before using a spell or else …it jsut uses at random location and missing the target. + the game is so restricted …you can’t do anything unless you have a token…but it’s supposed to be F2P …yey and wtf is up with that market ? why can’t i get my cash when ■■■■ sells ? i have to wait 2 days + to get my money …wtf ?

i dont mind a grind fest …played so many of them, but i do have a prob when i have figure out if my spells are going to hit or not

haha this bad? stop it please.

good bye.

Do Mercenary Post Instance. You will be able to get at least 1 level by doing 3 runs. Cheap experience.

Also, next time you level a character, remember to juice as much as you can those instance dungeons. You’ll save tons of exp cards.

this thread is very old and you can free ride to 230 now
