So im planning to go Cleric2>Diev2>Monk3 and im Diev 2 now
i spend points to STR/DEX and some CON for surviving, but im really struggle with the quests just now because this class have no AOE skill and also very long cooldown of statue
u can take a look with my build(i have no idea which skill to up on Monk)
my question:
1.What i need to improve my char, is it necessary to go full carve attack?
2.how to combo grind/boss with statue?
3.should i playing a new char ?

I’m currently a 99 Diev C2, questing isn’t a problem (for the moment? o.O).
Carve attack is nice if you have high dex (plus low cooldown), I’ll project to up it at 10, indeed the Owl statue have a long coldown and it’s too bad…
But on the other side I’m ok with that when I see how many Oak wood I use after a 90 dungeon.
When I boss, the more often combo I do is World Tree/Owl/Carve attack, with high dex, damages are pretty decent.

There is no SHOULD for should you play a new character. It depends what you want to do. Do you want more damage and support? If yes, then yes. If you like Monk b/c of RO/martial art movies, then just stick with it.
I personally max carve attack since its physical damage and your str build so that should be your main skill and has low cd. I’m not even getting Zemyna coz honestly at later level its so bad, 17 sp really isn’t much later on maybe level 15 one be good if someone is going full support but i find the flat amount just not worth it but that’s my thought.
@Kanashimi how much dex is high dex? and does dex increase owl damage?
Owl is magic attack, magic can’t crit (unless you’re only talking about carve)

The only stat that affects Owl is int.
U shoudve took at least priest 1 for d buffs
I know Owl damages are magic, but it does damages that’s the main thing, that’s enough to take 30% hps of the boss.

why such high dex? For the crit?
You should have no problem with bosses let the owl tank for you while you hit boss at the back… Questing and bosses are not a problem with deiv monk even in 200++
Yes, I love to see crits when I am attacking with my monk hehe. But str must to be higher than dex for this char.
