Friend, look. I get why you think that, but think about it. You can’t generalize like that, even if you met a thousand brazilians, it would not be a good enough sample to say that half of them are bad. What happens is that the bad ones are also the noisy ones, so, as I said, I understand why you think that. But you are wrong. I have a gazillion brazillian friends who are highly educated and well behaving. The difference? They speak very good english and never get into fights nor scream their nacionality. Therefore, usually you can’t even tell that they are brazilians. I mean, just think about it, Brazil is almost 50% of ToS player base, if half of those were toxic… God. Right now it feels like we are fighting pests, they never come out when you’re around but as soon as you go sleep they come out of their holes. Yes, this is exactly it, Infinity members are just like pests. None of them is brave enough to actually come at me and say “hey, let’s have an all out war” or anything alike. But then again, our objectives were met with this war, we’ll continue to watch them hop ch when attacked and we’ll keep our track for their guild tower, which i’m sure they wont be rebuilding until the end of the war

@Greensburg Guild wars are just not worth at all right now, it’s just as we predicted: you’ll always be fighting someone who’ll keep thinking they’re the winner even when everybody knows they aren’t. They’ll just find any kind of excuse to say “we won”, such as the number of guild towers destroyed.
As for Infinity, the fact remains the same: you guys can’t take us on, that’s just about it. You do not have the numbers, the structure, the intelligence and even the gear to do that

In the context of the mmorpg community, BR stand for a community of Brazilian national supremacists. Do they teach you anything in Brazilian schools? Context is key here.
Even if it did mean Brazilian, is that any better? I would argue that it would be worse. It doesn’t change the negative connotations of “BR” and lumps in non-BR Brazilians into it.

Now I’m imagining the British leadership whining to each other about how the dirty Americans refused to meet their Royal Army in the middle of an open field so they could throw lead at each other all day like idiots, especially when the Americans knew they were outnumbered and outgunned. Face it, avoiding conflicts that will inevitably end in a loss is a tactically sound idea and no amount of bitching will change that fact. It’s part of our history.
One thing you definitely get wrong is BR = only associates with BR players. Not once in my many years playing mmorpgs have I referred or heard BR referred to anything but Brazilian players, not like it’s a good thing though.
Fair or not, Infinity must place another tower, otherwise it’s just nonsense. Like scoring a goal and taking the ball home.
I’m kind of glad that they’re actually revamping GvG.
Having experienced the battle in Tenet garden and dropping meteors at 2 frames per second wasn’t very enjoyable, and neither was being spawncamped after being murdered by poison you didn’t know you had. I’ve even experienced someone impaling me, but due to the sheer 2 FPS party they were slamming me into friendly heal squares. I… don’t think they were intending to do that.
I suppose that might be an issue of the game’s optimization though, so I’ll leave that for another topic.
That being said, I’m kinda going to miss the tactics that have and could be done, and the nice enjoyable calm after 2 FPS battles, once the new GvG comes out.
Does that mean there won’t be GvG in the open world anymore?
Good question, I don’t know actually.
One one hand I hope it still is, but on the other hand, I kind of want to level up my lower leveled alts in peace.
I feel that the new mode will probably work as a ‘‘ranked’’ one where the rewards exists, while Open World PvP may get a few tweaks but no rewards (or no big/significant ones at least) due to it’s nature.
Seeing as Wyrm has decided to single me out as a forumgoer, I’ll reply to his salt-ridden wall of text in similar size, with some summarization (perhaps with a little tweaking of the tone) to keep from flooding the thread.
I apologize for any obvious mistakes or the rushed nature, I haven’t written walls of text of this nature since the original debates over the game’s official EXP rate.
I’m not sure what game you are playing, or the type of conflict you think you’ve set up but from the very beginning you have established that there are no rules in this conflict. You started this very war by attacking a guild with single digit members online with an auto-accepted declaration and spawn camping, and then boasted about it. You set the stage of a no-holds-barred, honorless gutter brawl with YOUR actions, and nobody elses.
And if you think that anyone that involved in such a conflict is going to act like a chivalrous knight with blinders on, then you’re even more arrogant and self-centered than I could have ever believed. You have pushed a guild to fight you at a disadvantage and act like you’re on a level playing field, and then act surprised when they avoid fights you set up in advance and attack you when your guard is down. You’re nothing but a bully looking to flex his muscle, and throw a fit when your victims stab you in the kidneys. Twice.
And here you go bleating off, fully embracing the Brazilian-Supremacist definition of BR that you so verily decline to accept. You saw a joke from a BRAZILIAN member of another guild and took that as the opportunity to justify your war-mongering while spewing your own brand of hateful vileness; if not evidenced by in-game content then at least by this very thread. You have no moral high ground to stand on as a humorless bigot, let alone act as if this was something casual when you and your guild have been the sole driving force of this conflict, in-game and out, since the beginning.
At this point, this isn’t even applicable to the guilds, their conflict, or the server, so I’m only responding to this here to calmly accept the fact that in your sheer frustration you not only finger me as your enemy for not kissing your arse, but also force words into my mouth. I have NEVER stated not to be taking sides, that should have been obvious from the very first post in this thread in which I wished Infinity Good Luck, I have only stated I am not a direct member in either side of the battle; but you’ve more than shown that everyone on this server and forum has a stake in it if your ego and guild run unchecked.

I’ve tackled this statement above; you’ve set the stage for an asymmetrical conflict and cry like a child who doesn’t get to bat the entire game when things change outside your favor. You constantly insult the ‘balls’ of your opposition just because they aren’t braindead children who idly run into deathtrap encounters at your whim and fancy.
Your feigning lack of interest only further broadcasts your frustration, like that of a child throwing a tantrum you proclaim in your loudest voice and foot-stomp that you don’t really care, while still reaching for the cookie jar. You cannot force your enemy to fight at the stoop below you just because it’s convenient for you, not that it would change your tune from constantly shouting to the heavens that you’ve ‘won’ while I’m receiving server messages about your losing a second tower and accusing the other guild of not yet building theirs while it’s clearly possible your own incompetence is just keeping your from uncovering it.
Not that you seek to play fair either, I visited that spot on the map when you broadcasted it, and your attempt to hide away your tower inside the wall in the dead-end of a Lv36 map was hardly impressive; not that you didn’t jump to brag about how you were ‘giving up on the tower’ and they could ‘just take it’ (not that you were even faster to say THE EXACT OPPOSITE when they DID take it down) the moment that you thought it had been discovered. You constantly brag, lie, boast, and whine here, but I’ve yet to see you take a single step towards a fair or honest conflict, or do we have to start looking back to your shady dealings with ‘random’ clerics and ‘fair’ fights as if you’re the saint here?
And yet your entire post here has been on the defensive, except when you were trying offend them and anyone who doesn’t want to grovel at the feet of your BR mafia. You sit here and insult them, and yet I look at a score of 2:1, with ‘Infinity’ willing to admit defeat on more than one occasion while you act as though you’re invulnerable while everyone gets to watch as blood seeps through the cracks in your armor. You project so proudly that they’re doing anything to say they’ve “won” when that’s what you and your guildmates have been doing since their first posts in this very thread.
Your blatant ignorance is flaunted like a tabard; you and your shills have rebuffed every argument, point, and anecdote under the raging flames of your racism and crudeness, or simply outright ignoring them, usually accompanied with some variation of “You’re Racist!” in broken english. Players like me can only view this conflict from the outside, and you have done more than your share here to fan the flames of war. We are placing another tower within the next 24h, while Infinity will be probably waiting for 5 more days. Since as it seems 100k is too expensive for them and they want to keep the “winning score”. Expecting a 2+:1 score in the future, withobvious reasons, we really don’t care about a useless, defenseless structure.
If you want to be a recognized guild show the crowd how can you fight, so they might join you in the future battles! You need more people! (Come on, iRo1 could have 56 members in a guild, since your guild moved to ToS, where the hell is the rest?)
And yes I am provoking you guys, since honestly, I want some honest gvg, head on action that I didn’t taste yet. Your current strategies are not fun, rather boring. I would gladly announce all our next towers on this forum, always expecting a decent fight, since GvG’s are for fun not cowardice. Are you going to use the same strategies in the Guild Tower system that is coming out? I do not think the enemies will fall asleep in the middle of the battle…
Ah, one more thing, I was the one provoking you guys on global chat, with scared chickens and such. Because that’s all Infinity is about in my eyes. While expecting a fight filled battle, I only received tons of whispers with insults for Infinity members. Infinity lost its shine and glory compared to how it was 4 years ago. At that time it didn’t have rude and nationality hating members, they were all rather friendly and calm.
Also, don’t even bother fixing my “Ingles” or saying that it is bad. English is my 3rd foreign language, out of 4, not including my mother tongue. So I am sorry for my bad “Engrish”

As far as i know it used to be one at a time?
Did they change it in iToS as well, I read the notes in kToS that there is possible to have 3 enemies at a time and some kind of neutral friendship with a guild.
I didn’t check it out yet, but it would be odd if you could have 3 enemies already since the amount of guild is still less than 10.
