Stop using Pets in dungeons

Yes, stop it. Pets only makes everybody miss target and walk into the mobs.

EDIT: If you are a Hunter its okay, you already have tons of IA problems to worry.

It is even easier to take the pet off

Hahaha.

Oh you meant that seriously.

But isn’t targeting so easy… ctrl push … auto fix to target. And as long as one target is there, done deal.

boss?
Just target it outside of that and lock it in.
Thats how i managed to hit them till now.

sometimes pet blocks me when im using mouse mode

wasted 3-5 sec of dps from trying to target the boss with 2-3 pets around it. im an archer btw

on keyboard mode sometimes it change target when you go far or it changes target that it needs at least a few tab before it returns to the boss and thats with the lock on enabled

They should definitely make pets untargetable. At least your party member’s.

You can work around it, sure, but it’s annoying and there’s no need to target pets.

its not even target its like the game treat pets as NPC that you can talk to

so they block orsha warp statue and hinders some hitbox for mobs/boss

Not everyone plays with keyboard.

I can`t understand some people thoughts… its like:
Your girl was cheating on you on your own couch. Lets burn the couch and solve the problem!!
If something isnt working well you have to fix the problem not subjugate to it.

In a controler you can set the lock-on on a button, I had it in on L3 to give it an easy access.
This leaves us with mouse users, which still have access to their keyboard and I think you can still use commands such as ctrl for lock on, unless they are actually playing with only one hand for whichever reason they may have I won’t judge.

Some couches are being burned around here.

…true master race…

I can’t use anything except a keybord.

My hands are to big to play comfortabel with a controller for a long time.
And moving the mouse around to much, hurts your wrist joints.

xD

keyboard is perfect. i can relax my hands.
Aim and walk at the same time.
And have acess to infinite comibnations of keystrokes. … theoreticaly… a si never bother with them all.

Pushing L3 on controller to lock target is the default setting. Pushing the L stick left and right will cycle targets.

Honestly I am surprised that they haven’t fixed the problem. I’m a hunter that plays with the mouse and keyboard. Ctrl target lock does not work properly, or at least I couldn’t get it to work. Moving the mouse over most anything at all changes/removes the lock (pet, mob, drops, etc.). It’s like playing a mini-game of avoid all obstacles when I kill things.

Pets should not be targetable in PvE.
