Stop giving compensations

Yes, that’s what I want to say and I’m not crazy.

Compensations are made to apologize for mistakes you made but you don’t need to apologize for doing your job. Look at the big game companies like Blizzard. If they have a maintenance or a emergency shutdown just close the servers for a while and then nothing happens, not a single compensation. Even a big company like RIOT games don’t give rewards to players for a 6 hours shutdown because they know this is mandatory.

You can’t make everyone happy because they will be always people who are going to complain about their “time lost” waiting for a game to get fixed. You don’t owe us nothing but a game you are working for. We know it’s on early access.

If you keep in that way you are going to get the players used to it.

big company like RIOT games don't give rewards to players for a 6 hours shutdown they give RP for a unexpected shutdowns and server lags early on.
Games with premium system recover premium time for maintenance period ± 1day.

Yeah, exp books and other is not necessary, but we earned this bonuses cause of hard lag and other error that makes limited game possibilities.

In Europe, RIOT games never give an RP compensation, just an IP boost in some big server problems but most of the time just apologize and keep going. People are asking now for a compensation for a 2 - 4 hour maintenance. It’s just excessive.

actually you are right, it’s been only a few days and I already received compensation twice for things that never affected me in the first place.
As for Riot they pissed me off several time with server issues that made me disconnect and then black screen and thus lose ranked game and no compensation :slight_smile: but on the other hand, they do give free stuff from time to time, especially now you a lot of free skins not with that hex tech crafting thing
