Stop being babys that just cry....(RO Players)

Every time that you come to the forum, you must bring an umbrella, there is so many people crying that this looks like a storm of it…
Many of you call yourself RO veterans players? Are you kidding me? Do you remember how hard,unbalanced, low rate drop was RO? Because looks like you have forgot it and just complain about an easy game like TOS.
How many of you remember that to get a F**king card you should spent hours even days if you werent lucky, and here you cry because you have to farm just a whole day and you will get the item for sure LOL.
How many of you remember that killing a MVP in RO just gave items to the one who killed it, and you cry here because only five peoples and they party get boxes LOL???
How many of you remember that WIZZARD CLASS was useless in PVP but one of the most powerfull in WOE(War of Empires) but I had never listened to a wizzard complaining about feeling weak because they knew what was they job.
How many of you remember that swordman class what almost useless in RO but here they are even equal to other class, but you expect them to do hard damage jajajajaj where have you seen a swordman stronger than a wizzard, you should stop watching SAO(Sword Art Online).
How many of you remember, how hard was leveling in RO with some clases, and you complain because you have dugeons,missions and easy ways to do partys THEY EVEN SUGGEST YOU PARTYS IN YOUR SCREEN, but you keep complaining about being difficult to play in partys, IF YOU ARE ANTISOCIAL AND DONT ACCEPT PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY DONT EXPECT TO FIND PARTYS IN HIGHER LEVELS, there is always someone in the map that has no party and you could party him, you just need to BE NICE.
How many of you remember that RO didnt have a fair market and almost always people tried to scam you? and you cry because you have a market…

And i could do like 10 pages of this because this game TOS is ten times easier than RO and you keep complaing about problems, about lag ( RO at first was ten times worst in lag for me being a Latinamerica player), about playing a hard game, MMORPGS are suppouse to be hard are not easy, MMORPGS are done for GRIND and if you dont like GRIND there is a big door by were you came.
Its true that the game is not balanced at all but you cant expect all the 4 class to do the same damage that would be stupid, that why every class must be special…, Did you know that swordman can do money faster than any other class? o maybe you dont…

So people, im not a white knight like you say in forum cuz like you i hate lag, i hate not having much patches(RO received a patch like once a year lol), but dont cry fro everything and endure it being patient.

I didnt say that everyone, if it hits you it is because of something lol.
if im not wrong you are the one complaining about swordmans lol, i dont remember swordman being usefull in ro but almost no one complained about it and you are supouse to be a veteran player of RO? lol just go to corner and sit to cry there.
And if FAIL means to dont do damage you are being so funny…

This all the atenttion a hater will have from me good luck and pick a tissue for the tears

To long didnt read. Also i noticed a ton of caps lock as i was scrolling past might want to get your keyboard checked out the caps key may be stuck.

back in RO times, standards were pretty low cause few people knows what’s bad and what’s good

what games are there to jump on back then?

this time, with ToS, people have OTHER games to compare with ToS, and other games to jump to

OP does have some points though. Not all of them are completely correct, but there is some basis to his claim. I remember not too long ago how negative steam reviews were because “no WoE”. It’s why I don’t like the Renewal Guilds coming in here and making a mess of things, and why I partially quit.

We do have PvP, except we don’t die and it’s one on one instead of a free for all. Market inflated because of bots, which is a small reason why I also quit. The lag sucked because the AEGIS engine is incomplete (although it was also an impractical engine, and it seems IMC didn’t really improve).

I never played RO. I tried RO a little awhile ago and couldn’t get into it. I tried ToS because I heard it isn’t really a “successor” to RO. Plus, I always expect outdated gameplay to be updated for the times.

Not everyone enjoys outdated gameplay or follows nostalgia. People may find that, over the years, they just grew out of the things they used to enjoy in games.

I played Everquest for 3 years in my youth and would spend an entire day grinding out 1 level sitting in the same spot, watching the same enemy get auto attacked until it died and rinse and repeat or hours just doing a corpse run. Or camping a spawn for a week trying to get my epic quest item piece.

I can’t do that anymore. However my real complaints about the grind in ToS besides:

  • We have a limit to the dungeons we can run per day. So bad RNG + dungeon limit = frustrating.
  • Spawn rate seems bugged or something. They seem to be on a global timer instead of a respawn timer beginning after an enemy or group of enemies has been killed. Channel hopping + bad respawn times = frustrating grinding experience.
  • No real social environment to entertain us while we’re grinding. I come to the forums for entertainment while I’m grinding instead… lol. Might be a social environment at end game when people are forced to party but while you’re leveling up it’s almost non-existent. I understand how RMT take advantage of zone chats and stuff but man… give me back zone chats and put in a proper chat filter.

At least EQ had a heavy social environment to entertain me while I was doing boring repetitive work. I did partner with people to do quests but it was just that - doing quest. No one really talked much we just worked on quests.

So that’s all I’m going to say here. I like ToS for the most part but I am sorta frustrated watching people blindly justify things that are just terrible such as glaring balance flaws etc just because some ancient retro game had all of these issues too.

I went from EQ straight to WoW and didn’t once criticize WoW for not having a lot of the horrific design that EQ had in it. I, instead, took a breath of fresh air and was relieved to see that they weren’t in WoW. And please don’t come at me saying WoW was bad, it was awesome during its vanilla days.

No reason ToS can’t innovate for the times and improve upon the RO experience. People really want to just go from one game to a game that’s exactly the same down to its fundamental game design flaws?

So you want to have the candy ( dungeons) the whole day LOL, that why they are fun because you dont have it all the time, you want dungeons all the time to just get items and level right now, this game is supouse to be fun and hard but you people just make it boring with that kinda of thoughts.
You people just cry about not having a place or a way to communicate with people, for me is kinda funny that the Koreans players make more partys in group than us.
You could be a bit smarter a find a way to do a social enviroment you dont a need a chat or a house or something like that in ragnarok never existed something like that lol you just sitted in the middle of the capital and talked with people.
Stop being a child guys most of us here are above 20s we dont need ours fathers to come to clean our sh**, solve your problem by yourself.
And Im not saying that TOS is perfect but common people you are crying just because everthing is not easy, i know there is problems with lag,respawns and “Unbalanced jobs” but you can keep crying because no ones talks to you in the game or for not being able to get an item in a day LOL remember guys this is a MMORPG, since when MMORPG has been easy?
Looks like minecraft has done his job in this guys

Sometimes using Google for searching information isnt bad…

And go to get some dictionary my friend but at least intelligence is my languange means the knowdlege to take good decision and is different from being intelligent or smart :c maybe in english means another thing but im kinda sure is the same.

Or Maybe i said that here (TOS), you complain so much in game where is easier everything than in RO, and that why the tittle says RO PLAYERS
You must pay attention to what you are reading my friend because you are talking nonesense.
This is not minecraft you wont get a treasure from digging in a cube.

The one who has to change the game is not IMC is the community.

Whatever people doesnt seem to understand is easier to just complain :slight_smile:
