Stone Skin, how much SPR is required for it to be useful?

Hi guys,

I intend to go Int based AA chaplain.
Stone Skin from what I read seems to be an awesome(and to an extend broken buff)
I was wondering how much SPR do I need to me it useful instead of going pure int.

Also how useful is block in PVE? Negates all damage received?

Does this also mean I would require a shield?

Even without any SPR stone skin is decent as long as you level it to max level. With SPR it becomes really strong (you can reach block cap with enough SPR).

Nope. Stone skin gives you the ability to block even without a shield.

@bivvles But I read somewhere here, that after rework you can’t reach block cap
