How hard is it IMC. Kirito and his guild of lackies crash channels left and right to dupe their cubes, the few they get b/c they are basically the junior varsity on our server but still.
This has been going on for well over a month, you know about it, you know whos doing it, what is the hold up. Are you too busy managing this massive event that takes 45 seconds of my day, ikr that must be daunting to maintain, especially since it only works from 6:01am to 11:59pm.
Ban the cheaters, sick of all these guilds getting 40 windrunner recipes a day and infinite cards, +20 weapons etc, do your job or atleast make some attempt to.
You can cry all you want there, but until they confirm the reports by looking into the server logs and when they do, it will take a while.

Hoping for bans this tuesday but then again this is IMC. I’ll be suprise if they manage to patch this thing and ban a ton of exploiters by tuesday. Otherwise, this will continue for a month or two.
It would all be fixed if they already had applied a patch that don’t allow text commands/macros being input by normal players by doing an account status check.
If account is Admin group (GM, Admin, Moderator or w/e) then allow, if account is a normal player then deny.
How dissapointed you will be when none of them gets banned by the wave lol

What makes you think they have access to server logs?
The reigning theory now is that the lack of action and the pleading with the player base for leads and information is because of two things: A lack of manpower and a lack of basic necessities that every MMO but this one has, such as searchable logs.
Why wouldn’t IMC have access to the logs? Its their software.
I really doubt they wouldn’t have a console mode access for the server just to check on logs, not to count the backup they probably do every maintenance.
I doubt there is such a log as well. If every action we took was logged since the beginning it would consume petabyte of space.
I gues theyy will do nothing about them, as much as they do nothing about bots.
I want a clean new server, dont wana play in corrupted servers already.
Considering that some channels just come and go every maintenence, it’s not unreasonable to think they probably don’t have the logs and therefore can’t track those channels. If any.
servers have logs to keep track of things, text doesn’t require lots of space. Easy to cover up and also data is only saved for a x amount of time.
banning people and fixing stuff, takes a plan of action. that isn’t going to happen in a day or two guys.
In a day or two ofc not, but this exploit is nearly 2 months old, this is what a lot of people are overlooking. Recently the trashier guilds learned of it and have just been spamming it around the clock, crashing channels like theres no tomorrow, and on Klaipeda we all know who those players are, so how do GMs (durian etc) not know. If I can right now name atleast 20 people guilty of doing it a dozen times a day the people responsible for monitoring the game should have some clue.

Just because the logs exist doesn’t mean they’re organized in such a way as to be useful. If the GMs had powerful search tools, a comparitively small number of them could clean out the bots and cheaters pretty well. Do you see that happening? No?
Then it’s not likely they have access to logs or the tools needed to use them effectively.
Do you have a better explanation for why this game is a burning pile of exploits, and the GMs themselves are choking on the smoke and begging us for help?
The only other explanation I can think of is that there’s nobody at the helm of those logs or tools, and nobody even trying. That’s also incredibly bad.
Either scenario is pretty much certain doom.
That would be pretty retarded for a program team to do things like that, they need to have a log system with [critical], [warning], [information] and so on to be able to debug the game more efficiently.
Hell, even wifi routers have that kind of logging.

IMC was the worst possible choice for the ITOS, they just don’t give a ■■■■about the game and those bugs, they don’t know how to fix it and probably will ban just 10% of the exploiters.
2 days off ON EVERY WEEKEND just prove how much IMC care about the game.
No forum moderation at all.
No in game moderation at all.
No RMT moderation at all.
No real support, just some crap automatically answers.
No anti-bot measures, just some crap low level bans every day, and measures that everyone knows that don’t work like players report.
