Steam TOS Question!

This might be a stupid question but I don’t play many MMOs and pretty ignorant on this subject.

I saw the release date for TOS was for May 10, but I see it is available to download on the 8th which I’m downloading right now, is it a difference playing on Steam? Maybe they won’t let me play until the 10th? Kind of confused on why it is avalible on steam.

Steam is the current distribution platform for all non-koreans/japanese servers. As far as I know you can only download it on steam and not a seperate source unless you’re playing the KR or JP versions.

Also I belive it’s allowing you to pre-load the game before Free to Play launches.
