The issue: Steam Overlay + Steam Controller has stopped working in ToS, while it works just fine in other games.
1st - I played on the initial release month (pay to play month) setup the steam controller and worked just fine, even setup customized bindings. Worked amazing, had no issues that were not steam related (occasionally steam would crash and cause the controller to stop working mid game.) Until I decided to launch it today.
2nd - I have tried the following: restarting steam, launching as an admin, set compatibility modes on and off, restarted PC, attempted game launches in and out of Big Picture, finally overlay is enabled and always is.
The best with what I have done that I have managed to achieve is getting it to allow me to move the mouse and use the triggers as the right and left click. Otherwise the overlay still does not open up with the steam button, as well the overlay doesn’t respond at all. I can play it with keyboard and mouse but I would prefer to use the controller that I played with up till now. So any ideas, or has someone figured this out? I am about ready to uninstall and reinstall as another attempt.
