When I see https://steamdb.info/sub/68255/ or https://steamdb.info/sub/97056/ update, that is when I will be happier, since these appear to be tied to the EA Founders purchase (only subs/packages that have been region-locked, and not likely by coincidence that they also match the same locked regions as the EA Founders pack previously announced).
Once this is updated they will likely announce, but at least they’re active and busy so one can hope =)

1, founder packs are done deal
2, players will be able to download on the day of release

lol yeah I find myself refreshing them as often as the forums. Nothing much else I can do, I’ve already stopped all my other games since the hype is real xD Oddly the forum post John made (the FAQ regarding the Latest Announcement post) was made at the same time as this thread was created. Which means they updated the app on steam at the same time he was actively typing out the thread (or he pasted and created it within a minute of the steam update).
Either way, their activity is closely tied together xD So it never hurts to keep tabs on those apps lol 372000 was updated yet again about 10 min ago, so I guess we’ll just wait and see if they’ll release info on the updated plan or not -.-"

You guys are like spoiled children thinking you’re entitled to everything.
Most people are used to paying and dont mind throwing money at the game they like. Go read the posts of people who actually want to play the game vs people who just want to make noise.
Compare whose passion is greater.
- Want to play no matter what circumstances
- People who claim to support the game but jump ship as soon as 1 announcement is made, create hate on forums, rage on steam comments, flagged the game as fast as they greenlit it in the first place, unlike facebook
And the likes.

We’re entitled to honesty. A common misconception a lot of Founder pack supporters have is “Since you don’t support this, you must be poor, jobless, underaged, etc”. Did you ever stop to think that maybe some of us can afford it but choose not support this kind of business practice?
It’s great that some Founder supports will support the game no matter. That type of person is every company’s favorite. They can do next to anything and the customer will always open their wallet. Not every Founder thinks that way and I sincerely hope you don’t either. Don’t confuse being mad and aiming for change with jumping ship. If I wanted to jump ship, I’d log out and stop posting. I care. I have passion. I’m not about toss $50.00 USD for a three month head start and what was supposed to be an Open Beta which is now closed and behind a paywall. That is sick to me.
You know what I personally find childish? Individuals who mismanage their money. Sure, it’s your money, spend it how you wish, but when I see money being suckered out of people or being put towards a cause I don’t approve of? I personally dislike it. I won’t sit here and tell you how to use your money, but don’t assume that people who aren’t as loose with their money as you to be childish. Some of us are shrewd.

Maybe in typing this you have overseen something big.
Paying $50 easily does not mean “mismanaging money”
- Some people earn more than $50 in the time you have taken to type that paragraph
- $50 means nothing to these people, because they see that instead of spending their most importance resource which is time, to do meaningless things, they are already making money constantly making this $50 even less of an issue
- People who claim they can afford, somehow are so butthurt about all the tiny litte details and actually spend time to type a lot, rage on forums, flag steam, creating sarcastic pictures, trying their best to ruin the company because things do not go their way
- Individuals who mismanage their time surely are surely looser with their money and not shrewd as they think they are.

There are people who make more than $50.00 in less than two minutes. I’m going to ahead and say that next to no one in this community makes this an hour.
I think people can spend their off time as they see fit. If someone wants to hop on a forum and post after work, that’s their business.
Like I said, if people want to toss $50.00 USD at Tree of Savior, that’s their business. I’m not going to go out of my way to tell people how to manage their money. I’m not understanding how you can type all of that yet rag on other users, including myself, for posting in a forum.

Technically no, they didn’t lie. They never said their Open Beta would be free. They simply said that it was coming then put it behind a $50.00 USD paywall. It was misleading and scummy. However I think a lot of players would like to know why they did that and if such sudden and abrupt changes to their mode is going to be a common thing.
