Stealth + Sapper

In pvp can you plant the sappers traps while stealthed with cloaking [scout skill] without being seen? Or do they count as attacks and therefore remove the stealth?

I’m not 100% sure but yes, you can use traps without being seen

Haha, thanks for the info, i guess ill have to test it to make it 100 percent sure once beta goes live XD

Putting trap while being invisible that would make Sapper+Scout combo interesting.

Its one of the only ways i could see people in pvp let you get away with making them :disappointed_relieved:

I didn’t test sapper, but someone told me about this combo with cloaking

I’ll be testing sapper c3. Didn’t have a rank 6 class planned yet (will choose between QS c1, falconer or scout c1). If i take scout i’ll let you guys know if this work.

Thank You, I was going to test it myself but idk if ill have enough time

Already made my mind. Going archer c2 > sapper c3 > scout c1. Another interesting thing to test is if the cloaking attribute works with trap activation.

You might consider taking scout sooner just so you have more skills, i was also wondering about that cloaking attribute, or if the traps activating would take you out of stealth.

Yeah, my primary concern was to test Spike Shooter trap, but since i want to test the cloaking thing too, i should take scout in rank 4 or 5 since more skills makes it more fun.

the problem is… the trap will not be invisible unless you use conceal…

yes I have one char lv80 scout+sapper+quarrel shooter

and you can stay in stealth mode after put traps, but enemies can see your traps
right now what you can do is, use your traps to zone your enemies

or use cloaking, go far away, your traps+conceal (conceal can hide all traps if you put them together) and lure the enemy to your trap

In this point, i agree with the current design. Stealth should not give invisibility to traps.

In the best case scenario, Conceal could have a attribute which would lessen its cd by a little, while used in stealth. But it’s ok in the current design.

Anybody finally tested it? D:
