Just want to know before buying the Stat reset potion. If I were to buy it through Marketplace will it become ‘untradable’ and my last question is;
if it’s untradable can it be share through team storage?
Good question, I’m not rich enough (in Silver) to try though.
Same x{ Thats why I want to make sure that it’s tradeable, if not then I want it on the char I ould like to use the reset.
Just do exactly that (purchase it on your intended character), then try to “move it thru storage”. Even if it fails, at least it’s in the right char and you get the answer (and satisfy my curiosity as well).
Last time I bought a skill reset from DLC from someone else it was still re-tradable, not bought via market but through personal trade.
But since there was a shard update where it’s now only tradable once I’m not even sure how it works now
Good news! it’s tradable afterward!
Stat reset? Where can we buy it?
If someone who purchased the [event] package decided to sell it, you can find it in the marketplace. Otherwise you have to purchase it directly thru your local currency in the ToS Store Page (bundled).
Tradeable items becoming untradable after trading/buying is one of the worst things of TOSs item system/inventory system. It has no real benefit and only screws over honest players.
untradable is to prevent millions of copy flood into the market.
i think untradable is a real genius move, its the only thing i approve of.
the idea is good, but the implementation is bad… ui doesnt give correct info and often time bugged.
huehuehue
What do you mean with “copy flood”? Duped items?
If that’s the case, then the reasonable action is not frustrating the user by the current tradeable->untradeable system, but instead the reasonable action is fixing the bug that allows item duping in the first place,
OMG finally. @haukinyau1 @MayMay @TeamChespin @ralphdeduyo @VacaOverpower @RavioliRavioli @kurayami1234
is this really sayurichan? kakaka
unfortunately things like channel crashing isn’t fixed yet. and now we have new bugs regarding the untradeables - the untradeable count in items doesn’t decrease unless you totally deplete it.
Bug fixing and code vetting is never IMC’s area of expertise.
my bad, i should have explain it more clearly.
if item are unlimited trade, then market will have millions items flooding the market because unlimited trade means item are immortal, item will not degenerate/deplete/reduce in amount-in-whole-server-history/expire
(imagine shards unlimited trade for Server that have been around 99months… million of shards will circulate in the market…)
again, just so u wont confuse, current implementation for untradable is just bad, but the idea of limited tradable is great.
much like the idea of 80classes diversity as advertised but only meta build could work.
imc have great ideas but poor implementation.
before u start pointing why i dont give suggestion, well, im a customer, i only give thumbs up or middle finger, i dont do suggestion.
huehuehue
tldr, as much as market tax serve as silver sink, untradable is item sink.
Well, i think there are certain aspects with the “untradeable” thing.
What i find is completely ridiculous and the main problem is that items that are untradeable usually are even untradable via team storage, which is completely stupid and unnecessary for 99% of all items.
Just recently when i crafted my Agny i bought a blood stone on one char and the mithrills on another char, because they just happened to have the money on each char for each purchase… but lo and behold, i couldn’t craft it because the damn items became “untradeable”, meaning that i couldn’t even shove these now useless ressources to my other characters. Money wasted, just because of that fcked up trading system, yay!
@haukinyau1 : i completely and wholeheartedly agree that there are items which could accumulate over time and flood the market, but these are mainly things like equipment, aka items that don’t get consumed/used up by crafting.
But the rest - ressources, ores, crafting materials, etc - should always remain fully tradeable, both via team storage aswell as trading to other players, because those will go away over time when people use them up for crafting. I’d argue that even shards should remain tradeable because even those get consumed and there is no way to get all of them back after using them.
At least make them team-tradeable! This goes for all items, but especially for special/premium items like stat reset pots, skill reset pots and rank reset thingies. There is no reason why these should not be team-storage-tradeble, i think that “team storage tradeable but not tradeable to other players” is a possible attribute for items, so IMC insisting on making event items non-team-storage-tradeable is, in my opinion, unacceptable and totally anti-consumer.
thx
in short, poor implementation, like i said, main reason i hate imc is they do things halfassed, great idea for untradable, but they cant even decide what items should be untradable, what item should be tradable and how…
more frust when they break previous patches every so often
now, its just a lazy code all item untradable
sayuri, since u like tos, give imc 1year to drill down and code each item tradable or not.
i wont wait for imc to fix and take us player as labrat.
u get my frustration now?
they could do things right the first place, but they didnt, and player suffered.
still, untradable is a good idea, but falls to the wrong hand, atleast, until they fix it.
huehuehue~
That sounds strange, almost like some whiteknight hacked his account.
huehue
No dude its like we’re witnessing a white knight turn to a dark knight then hue. As for whiteknights its either they quit, hide in the ecchi off topic, continue to white knight and get reality check slapped to them, or turn to a huehuehue.
kakaka
sounds like a fun job/class evolution
what game is that?
oh… tree of forum
i gotcha~
huehuehue~
