Hey, guys, quick question. When considering your stat ratios, do you count points added or the ratio of total points?
To clarify, I have been essentially keeping my strength double my dexterity and constitution (2:1:1). The 10% str increase and periodic extra points makes it very hard to count the points like in other MMOs. It just makes sense to look at total points without equips.
Just wondering on your thoughts on the matter. Thanks!
If your build requires X strength to deal Y damage, then it doesnt matter if X strength is either A or a combination of A+B from equips
Edit: In other words, look at the final goal of your build and the stats resulting from it, if you’re getting Str up to a certain point then feel free to stop increasing Str when it reaches that point with the 10% increase or your equips. On the other hand if your build wants Str to go into infinity then pump all the Str you want.
In this case your build requires str to be twice as much your dex and con so i’d assume use the numbers that you see on your stat screen.

Appreciate the response! I see what you are saying. Based on what you are saying I believe I’m doing what I need to do. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to these things. Haha.
If you’re a perfectionist, then you can do what i did for one of my characters and just make a sheet keeping track of what stat should be increased every level up to keep a perfect 2:1:1 ratio from level ups.
