I am currently looking into squire as a potential choice. I would love some feedback on it.
I am looking for usefulness both for parties and solo. I ask as most feedback dates to November / December thanks
I think you might want to add questions to your post because it’s really hard to cover everything without the things that you need to know 
I was Squire in iCBT2 and it was really fun for me because my party members are always grateful for repairs on the battlefield 
Sorry, I was in a little bit of a hurry.
I will be honest, I am a casual player so I wont be having the ability to make a team every time unless of course that random party thing works well.
Now, I have 2 builds in mind:

Sword1 -> Pelsata3 -> Squire 3.
Should be good for teams and the 2 umbros should do good damage with high guard [yes I plan to use that thing] -
Sword1->Pelsata1->Hoplite2-> Squire3
The more cookie-cutter build. Should be the recommendation in my books. Lacks the block chance / Tankiness of a Pelsata [Yes I know Finesta gives + Block].
Honestly, I feel that Squire should lead to some Knight class later on. Also, I think its obvious I like the first one more, but I just want someone to support it. All my calculations say that the 1st one sucks. Being a casual, I most probably wont re-roll.
Its just that I wanted to go Cata3, but I dont see a good option for 7th tier. I don’t like Dragoon very much as it lacks that factor which would add any value to it [yes damage is value, but i prefer versatility/speed; if only Shinobi skills could be used while mounted].
