So, I want to make a Squire 3 to have some extra income from repairs and the lodge utility, but what’s the best way to get it levelled?
I’ve read some old topics suggesting either S1, H3, Sq3 or S1, Pelt3, Sq3, but I’m not knowledgeable enough about swordies to know how those fare nowadays.
For those two builds:
Swordsman - Highlander C3 - Squire C3
Easy to solo, very high damage and nice utility for party and yourself with armor maintenance and repair, easy path
Swordsman - Peltasta C3 - Squire C3
Hard to solo, nice damage which falls off way quickly, but an amazing utility on party
You can also try:
Swordsman - Peltasta - Hoplite C2 - Squire C3
A bit of both worlds, great damage on hoplite skills and great tankiness. Good for solo or party (but doesn’t excel in none)
EDIT:
Forgot to mention that both highlander and peltasta c3 have armor break, and you can’t use Deadly Combo from squire C3 with 2h sword nor one hand spear.

I’m not planning (at least at this time) on using the character much once I can get Squire C3 to max, so I’ll probably go with Highlander 3 here.
