Anyone else here anoyed with the ■■■■ AMC pulled? For ■■■■’s sake, I didn’t wait this entire season just to see a Goldeneye N64 parody and not even know who the ■■■■ met Lucile.
I’ve come and got used to how cliffhangers have always been happening. Though I do dislike how this entire season played out it just helped to make the next season more desirable at least…
I have a feeling that Rick and Daryl wouldn’t suffer from Lucille though… I hope.
okay… no spoilers tags in the code. I’m sad now.
I don’t think that this even qualifies as a cliffhanger. Everyone knows what happened, they just deliberately didn’t show who was killed. ■■■■ move at the very least. The next episode’s GOT to be the best episode ever to make up for this.
I mean, this was supposed to be THE most impacting scene of the entire series. Now all the impact of this scene will most certainly disappear during the 6-month pause. I can’t remember what I had for dinner last night, I’ll most certainly not be able to remember the tension I was going through when that ■■■■ happened. Ugh, this was supposed to be a scene with an immediate payoff, there’s just no way to pull this off without losing meaningfulness. Let’s not even mention the fact that whoever dies will probably be spoiled over these months.
(Sorry for all the rage, I’m just incredibly mad at what they’ve pulled. lol)
As for me, I think AMC doesn’t have the balls to kill fan-favorites Daryl or Glenn. They’ll probably kill Eugene or Aaron.
Haha for me it is a cliffhanger since you actually have to wait for a long time before you know who was actually killed… next season.
I actually can’t wait and see The Kingdom soon… Sigh now that you mention spoilers. That would be really disappointing, I hope they’d stop it. Spoilers aren’t really good for teasing the viewers…
Haha fan favourites somehow have plot shields but I have a feeling its either Eugene or Abraham though… I’d fee; bad if it was Eugene…
I don’t know, a cliffhanger has to be more… “Hangey”? lol We did have the “cliff” part, that’s for sure, but we were dropped down that cliff instead of being hanged. Now we’re waiting to hit the ground instead of waiting to know if we’ll fall.
Think I’ll start calling this situation “cliffalling” from now on.
EDIT: A cliffhanger would have occurred if they stopped the scene right at the end of the “eeny, meeny, miny, moe”, for example. lol
And I totally agree about The Kingdom. If there’s one thing I found nice at this episode, I can surely say it was that Morgan finally killed someone AND befriended The Kingdom guys. How do you think they’re going to pull Shiva, though? Maybe a CG tiger? lol
There’s a picture going around the internet where you can see Carl’s shadow reflected at Negan’s body right before the slamming, but judging from the angle, I’d say it’s someone close to where Carl was. That means either Eugene or Aaron. Eugene did have a MAJOR death flag (delivering the bullet-making plans to Rick brought to my mind when Deanna delivered Alexandria plans to Michonne right before being bit), much bigger than anyone else’s.
(Of course, if they DID kill Carl it would be fucking amazing. That would be very impacting and would mess with Rick a lot.)
Well most people know who dies from the comic book already and the fact that they didn’t show it right away means they might change it… and if they kill who they did in the comic book then be in for a world of pain
Well if you fell down… I’d just hang on the edge of the cliff!
It’s also quite interesting development for him since he was pretty much hellbent long ago during the earlier season and finally settled down recently… But seeing him change attitude with this finale. I’d say this a plus.
Now that you mention it. I’m interested on how they’ll project Shiva… Man it would be cool if it was a really tamed tiger but hell that’s a dangerous gamble! We might be expecting either she wont be there or Yes. CG.
Well… This really sucks if it was Eugene… His character development ever since he first saw him has been a good change… Although in the comic he is still alive… It would be sad to see him go… It was like watching a man from being a boy becoming a full pledge man.
Man… Not Carl too the boy has matured… He isnt the annoying bitch he was long ago!
I don’t think they have the balls to kill fan-favorite Glenn. Or Daryl, for all that matters. They’ll probably play safe and go with one of the B-listers. lol
Maybe they haven’t even DECIDED on who is going to die and pulled that ■■■■ move just to buy them six months.
I will be honest if they don’t kill who they did in the comic it would be very dissapointing and I think many hardcore fans would want to stop watching the show. At the same time idk why they wouldn’t go with fan favorites. It just puts that much more of an impact on the viewers and makes them want to watch and see how they make a comeback or things develop from there.
Yeah pretty much this… The viewers would be on their sits anticipating if their favorite died or not… but alas if it wasn’t any of them… It would be such a major let down.
Falling or hanging, either way we’re screwed for six months and possibly being spoiled. If I was the director, I’d either film the remainder of this scene on the DAY BEFORE the premiere, or film twelve takes on the same scene where EVERY SINGLE PERSON, INCLUDING NEGAN dies. The Spoiling Dead would have their hands full with that.
A real tamed tiger on the “peaceful” scenes and projecting her in CG when she kills walkers would be amazing. Or maybe something like this? lol
I agree with what you said for Eugene and Carl. In fact, I’d feel sad for basically anyone who dies.
Haha. I’d agree so in regards to the cliff because WE’D STILL be near it anyway.
Though I don’t really mind it… Just that the wait is too long…
Hell… Im sure I’ve seen similar animals in away that are projected in that gif from videos and gifs… and they still amuse me in such a way… haha
If that’s how they’ll be going with her man that would be epic but then hey… CG has already been in such levels that they’re near to the original!
Death is always a sad thing… But yeah… I hope they’d both be safe.
I completely agree with that.
AMC is becoming increasingly greedy towards TWD. This season had more cliffhangers than one can count, with the sole intent of bringing a bigger audience next episode. It’s getting out of hand fast.
If they killed a fan favorite, they’d risk losing a big chunk of the audience. It’s sad but true.
When pulled right, the death of a major character can be amazing. Like Shane’s death on the TV series. That was one of the most amazing deaths ever, and didn’t feel sad at all. It felt epic, if something.
However, death can also feel weird. Like when Andrea died in the TV series. That was lame and also didn’t feel sad. Well, it was sad, but not that way. lol
Man… Shane’s death was actually sad and enlightening you would feel that all the recent happenings really change a man on how they think and how they see the world in theirs…
