Tried to start up TOS after the maintenance and got this lovely error. I never used a Virtual Machine or know what it is. I sent a ticket to IMC and of course I get “lel stop using a virtual machine silly huehue RESOLVED”

Uninstall the Hyper-V in the windows features.
Some say that you have to change the computer name in the system from DESKTOP-“SOMETHING” to “ANYTHING”-PC

I already did that and Hyper-V is not showing up in the windows features .-.

I found this, but require Register editing. So do at your own risk, suggestion: Before editing the said Key, make a backup by right clicking it, and select Export.

We apologize for any inconvenience, it might have caused. Please be inform that from some reason the game thinks that your pc was a VM (Virtual Machine) because you computer’s name start with a “DESKTOP”. For Example “Desktop-12345”.
Kindly change you computer name by following the steps below.
- Go to System
- Advanced settings
- Computer Name. Click “Change” and change the “DESKTOP” to something else, like YourName-PC, etc.
- Then restart your computer and it will be fixed.
If you already have different names than “DESKTOP” header, please try to disable Hyper-V by going to “Programs and Features” and" Turn on and off Windows Features" to fix the issue.
If the issue still persist, kindly contact us again.

Already changed my PC name and tried to find Hyper-V , but it doesn’t show up where its supposed to be. A friend said that I won’t be able to play Tree of Savior on Windows 7 Home Premium after this update because people use this edition to bot or something
Next time they will block Windows or even PC because … uhh … people use it to bot.

I use MacOS. If this Game can’t run on MacOS or Parallels desktop, I will leave it.
Same problem here …computer name is fine, hyper-v never was activated, no virtual machines running.

Exactly, I’m in the same situation as you, already send a ticket but not sure if they’ll do anything at all…
I know a lot of people use VM for AFK farming and to take WB times, but they need to do something for those who actually play through VM T^T
im depends on VM to play tos, since im a mac user and i dont want to install bootcamp since most of my time using editing software on mac, so without vm there is no way for me to play tos…and i spend around 5k hours on TOS ONLYYY
