I did linker3 sorc3

u should really avoid it lol

Lifeline break easily as ever , and tbh lifeline int user only gave me some matk only . Not really worth of use of a 30second duration who breaks easily in a 60sec cooldown

What i think lifeline at least should do is they should let us absorb the highest pdef/mdef/patk/mdef/evasion/crit attack those detail stats instead of the general 1 cuz it doesnt really help much . 30second duration tht breaks easily in a 60second cooldown is worth this way

 • , when u use lifeline and then use riding on ur sorc , it auto removes/cancels spiritual+lifeline

Killing mob with lv15 link is nice tho , 10 mobs and ur almost ohko them . Good in 290/HG mobs (excluding resist link mob)

Decided to go pyro link2 sorc3 sage ! Bought lv10 helga for freaking max peta+60 shards >_<

It better worthy sorc3 !!! Now i got rexipher and helga , mirtis ur next <3

can you put a screenshot pls where you fight 290+ mobs with helga ? i need to know how many dmg she do

rip , i just saw this as i just finished my 3 run in 290 welp

But her skill dmg were doing 10k++ above , and the D skill is multi hit so its 10k+++ each hit =o ( removes magic circle / removes my friends warlock pole lmao )

Gosh im so so so happy with my build , it made me morph/ride use summon skill a lot of time <3

Though Helga dmg is higher than Rexipher as well tho , cant wait to get my hands on Mirtis and try her

And oh btw @Valentine shouldnt Desmodus consider as dark property skill as well ? I mean before it was earth now its magic but when i used link and used tht skill it shows as Earth

So is it magic or dark or earth tht gets 50% from linked boost?

Desmodus is earth, and always has been. Strange to me since bats are usually dark themed and bats are flying mammals lmao.

I did not try any Sorc1 builds because I wanted a build where it felt like the Sorc circle was important for my gameplay. I also did not try Psychokino because it’s the one wizard class I don’t know how to play.

I go full SPR with all my builds because that’s the only way to get a noticeable increase in DPS from summon, and magic attack can be achieved through better weapon/gear/other.

or for those wanting even more summon focus (will be better in the future when summons are buffed), try this skill point allocation:

Pros

 • Excels solo because summons are tanky and using riding skills will make monsters target Devil after you dismount
 • Good survivability
 • Able to provide party support (Frost pillar, Decay giving +50% missile damage)
 • Build supports temple shooter very well (Decay, Frost Pillar)
 • Both Necro and Sorc summons scale with SPR
 • Lots of riding
 • Ice Blast/Gust, Summon Familiar, Flesh Cannon, and Gather Corpse are good filler skills for DPS
 • Can solo pretty much everything because you have an army of summons supporting you
 • Fits on nearly all parties because of Cryo
 • Easy to play

Cons

 • A bit slower at killing because summon AI takes time (and summons are generally weaker than other DPS classes), so party play might feel sluggish
 • Skeletons and Shoggoth are very vulnerable to CC
 • Party Support still feels limited because of frost pillar’s long cd, and not every class benefits from decay
 • Slower at bossing

Modifications that work

Pyro3 instead of Cryo3 for more damage, less helpful in a party but definitely kills faster solo. Fire pillar provides “stunlock” cc. Enchant fire also helps party.

Pros

 • Excellent party support (Joint Penalty, Missile Hole, Portal, Enchant Fire)
 • Able to do high damage (Joint Penalty + damaging skill like micro dimension or desmodus)
 • Sorc 3 means summon is stronger than Sorc 2. Also, Desmodus gets damage boost from joint penalty

Cons

 • If a sage or pyro is already in your party, your “party support” is wasted because the party will already have missile hole and enchant fire. CryoChronoSage is very popular.
 • Requires a bit more skill to play because joint penalty is harder to use now after nerf
 • Can solo content where joint penalty works well, but struggles when joint penalty fails. Joint penalty reliant.
 • Very slow bossing

Modifications that work

 • Cryo3 instead of PyroLinker2, cryo will fit into all parties because even if you have a cryochronosage in party, it will benefit everyone to have more uptime of frost pillar. Also eliminates factor of joint penalty being resisted by some monsters at a cost of longer cooldowns though.
 • Enchanter instead of sage. Enchanter is really only useful for enchant lightning, but some people don’t like going sage because it’s too popular (or other reasons), and this is an alternative that still provides support. Also gains access to crafting joint penalty and flame ground scrolls for more support, but this is super expensive.
 • Drop one circle of linker and get Thaum3. All thaum buffs scale with SPR, and you will provide damage support to your party in exchange for weaker solo play and no missile hole/fewer links (which is still coveted in endgame content).

Pros

 • Probably the best solo build of all the ones I’ve shared.
 • High survivability (access to a lot of healing with Blood Sucking and Blood curse if you know how to use it well)
 • Can easily survive against melee monsters and bosses because levitate gives invulnerability to everything except missile (and certain magic skills)
 • Riding skills can be used while levitating --> invulnerability to melee damage while riding
 • Access to decay (though small aoe) with Ngadhundi, which helps temple shooter damage
 • Party supporter with joint penalty and blood curse (which can full heal party members if used right, on a long cd and dangerous to use at times though).
 • No need for potions
 • Very high damage
 • Good bosser (Kurdaitcha + Kundela Slash x 3 is super strong, and lots of bosses can’t hit you during levitate)

Cons

 • Joint Penalty breaks fast in party play if you don’t know how to use it properly.
 • Blood Sucking and Blood curse have kind of high cd’s, but if you learn to use it right you won’t die easily.
 • AoE is god-awful, so linker is necessary
 • Can’t use Kundela Slash or Ngadhundi while levitating, so you will depend on riding for dmg during that time or you have to end your levitation early.
 • Blood Bath is only good on Insect, Beast, and Devil monsters
 • Intasurta gloves are best for this because it lets you heal from all mobs with blood sucking. These gloves cost around 16-20mil.

Pros

 • High damage (Mastema, Pole of Agony, Invocation Spirits, Ice Blast)
 • Excellent at bossing (though only if boss doesn’t run out of pole of agony or ice combo)
 • Party support with Cryomancer
 • Nice costume
 • Pole of Agony is now stronger than before, with lower cd and able to use skill targetting
 • Can solo content well because of high damage

Cons

 • Dependent on high cooldown skills (frost pillar and mastema/pole of agony)
 • Warlock and cryo skills outshine sorc skills, so it feels a little less “sorc-y”, but the “dark” concept is well established
 • Build says it’s DPS, but any build with sorc in it won’t be as good dmg as the meta DPS’ers (like elememe)
 • Much less survivability than Featherfoot DPS build, and because of that less time spent riding too
 • Soloing requires use of potions because no sustain

Modifications that Work

 • Pyro Linker2 over Cryo3 if you prefer to have joint penalty over frost pillar. Cooldowns are lower this way, but limited number of links and vulnerable to link resistance (though you can easily just mob up link resistant mobs and use mastema to kill them all anyway).

Pros

 • Elementalist provides good damage with a lot of AoE (arguably highest damage of all other wizard cicles)
 • Excellent Bosser (if bosses don’t run out of your skills)
 • Reflect Shield is a good skill now with full SPR
 • OK at solo play, but not recommended soloing for undergeared players since survivability is an issue

Cons

 • CD’s are on the higher side, but there are a lot of skills, so you can rotate them
 • Personally did not like this build because it felt like elementalist with a summon in the back, not doing much
 • No sustain, yet will get a lot of aggro because of damage and skills require channeling
 • No real CC’ing (hail freezes don’t really count)

I was testing builds with the following stats:

i have tested today wiz c1>pyro c2>cryo c1>sorc c2>warlock c2 … very good build for bossing an mobing or solo farming ( i love fire pillar + pole of agony + a good riding skill with your summon ) aoe and st are very good and cryo gives you little cc for your rotation :smile_cat:

which build you go for after the event ? need to know :innocent:

Oh my goodness, trying to figure out how all of this works is torture.

I tried reading through the last few weeks of this thread, but it’s too much. Do we know yet how much summons benefit from SPR vs from INT? And how much damage all other skills lose without INT?

I still haven’t chosen yet between the Warlock or Featherfoot. I have another wizard that I might change to sorc so I can have both of them though lol.

I think main consensus is that once you start gearing up, the damage you lose from INT isn’t as significant because most of your damage will come from Transcendence, enhancement levels on weap, etc…

If you truly want sorc to not be dead weight on your build, I am a supporter of full SPR no matter what because it’s a much harder stat to stack and it’s pretty much the only way to boost summon damage (aside from weapon being better).

Comparing 0 to 400 SPR is roughly over double damage to my summons, but I haven’t crunched out numbers since I don’t have the patience to write down all the damage values. Grimoire is broken (doesn’t display correct numbers), and summons have wide ranges, so dmg is all over the place.

Im looking at your cryo skill build and only asking your thoughts on this as a sorc as well.

So personally I decided to leave out ice wall with my sorc completely. I just don’t see any use for it. I like to take subzero shield so I just used ice wall points on gust which I like using. Ice wall however I feel like I always have something else to use/do and it has such a long cooldown.

Ice wall was mandatory before the nerf with ice blast so now I just don’t use it at all. I also don’t use a staff so no shards but that would feel too slow to use anyways.

So just wondering about your opinion if there’s any reason why I should take it?

Oh and also! What do you think about desmodus/evocation which to max and which to leave at lv1. Evocation surely has now way higher damage but it doesn’t hit that many monsters it seems and it has a higher cd too. (Makes me wonder if theres any huge differences between cards.) Both have their benefits and I’m not really sure which is more worth it.

So is it okay to leave out INT completely? Also, how much CON would it take now to survive comfortably?

how do you get 613 spr :astonished: ?

Wait, Desmodus is still Earth even though they changed the tooltip? Have you tested it with Joint Penalty?

Yup it’s still earth. https://tos.neet.tv/skills/20710

Depends on your build, but all the builds I posted seem to work better with full SPR.

I personally found subzero shield to be kinda bad since I could just freeze enemies with my other skills and avoid getting hit anyway. Up to you, it’s preference.

I will say that taking ice wall will improve the damage you can do with Cryo though. Ice blast works with ice wall, and if you use frost pillar with ice wall and blast it, you get more damage from ice blast. It is also good for bossing and filler. You can take one point in it to get that functionality though.

Also, Using gust on ice wall gives additional lines of damage. So overall, I take ice wall for more filler dps (in an aoe).

Desmodus is better than evocation by a landslide. I used my other cards for evocation and found no noticeable difference in damage dealt
btw. i have the same problem with warlock and featherfoot … will i take warlock and go full dmg or okay dmg but high survival
Warlock will probably be better if you do a lot of party plays with a healer, since you got that AoE damage, but it’s also not as good as other DPS’ers. CD’s are also less of an issue with chrono in party.

I also like the idea of featherfoot in a party; while the members are blasting aoe in a certain place, you can go out on your own and start eliminating monsters 8 at a time with joint penalty.

It’s a hard decision :frowning:

fu off i go all in … my final build will be sorcerer only dmg with full spr and best staff + mirtis card for bossing and helgasercle card for mobing … i have enough money for the two cards but not for the staff :sob: my hope is that sorcerer will get better … hopefully very soon

Is helga bad for bossing or something?

I only have mirtis at the moment. The second and third mirtis skill is pretty amazing though, Third is especially good on bigger bosses since they take more than 3 hits from it.

i haven’t tryed her because i have not the card yet … but i heard she is good for aoe … and i dont know exactly if she is good at bosses too but i heard from you that mirtis is good for bossing :grimacing: ( my english is so bad )
