Sorcerer - Grimoire problem [Card Stars not showing & Abnormal behavior]

Hi, I am playing kCBT. I know this is iCBT bug report, but since both versions use the same client version i think same problem will occur here as well. I can’t write korean very well, so I will write it here.

I am having a 4 stars card, when I put it into Grimmore, it doesn’t reflect the additional attack nor stats due to the additional stars. Whenever i put it into the Card Slot, it will just show me 1star with no additional stats.

Secondly, after a few times of casting obey and getting down from the Grimoire, it appears that the Grimoire will stop attacking, and it will only attack when you cast “Attack Ground”. But at this time, Grimoire will only use normal attack instead of casting skills. This problem happens only after a few times getting up and down from grimoire, i don’t know what triggers it but it’s certainly a problem.

*Update: Ok, try this when you’re testing. Start with Attack Ground ->While it’s attacking units, use Obey -> move to other place, get down, Attack ground - > move ur character far away from Grimoire, and cast attack ground so that your Grimoire will come to you. And keep casting attack ground for a few times, and help the Grimoire to kill its existing target. By now it should behave like how I described ie. stop attacking any units voluntary and never use skills anymore on its attack

(Below are feedback, you may choose not to read since it’s in Bug report section, but i just include it as I report the issue)

I think the Grimoire behavior should be adjusted to follow the sorcerer or search for the sorcerer when both distanced too far away. I always end up having to search for it and use obey to make it goes to the place that i want it to go. Attack ground skill wont work if it is still fighting with a unit left behind. And I have to go back and search for it, and even help the grimore to kill the unit so it can move forward. This is ridiculous.

Lastly, I think 1 grimore is certainly not enough. The attack isn’t very much higher than a companion. The only benefit is that Grimore has AOE. But considering all the hassles to control it, and i even have to accommodate its movement, sometimes i’d rather not use it. I had fun with Pyro and Elementalist, but certainly NOT sorcerer.

The only problem I have with summons are stairs but besides that i think they are fine. Also I have no issues with mounting and dismounting with my summon; it attacks and use skills properly. My summon automatically moves to me when I am too far away. It sounds like your summon is stuck which is why it is staying at a spot and attacking. Try leaving the summon to decide on its own and it should be fine. It does behave stupidly sometimes but most of the time it’s okay for me and I am having a blast leveling the Sorcerer

And yeah the stars on the cards are not working. But you know that each point in int will increase your summon’s attack while each point in spirit will increase its defence? :x

Hey,

Thanks for your input. But no, my grimmoire wasn’t stuck anywhere. After a few rounds of mount and dismount, and I cast Attack Ground, then it just wont voluntary attack any units nearby but I am not sure why. And sometimes it pissed me off when it wasn’t moving forward because it stayed behind to attack the fireball i left behind. Yes, like you said, leaving the unit to decide on its own solve then problem, but then it defeats the purpose of having skill point assigned to control a not-well-controlled unit right?

No I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info ^^

Yeah my summon has innate hatred for my fire ball as well. It wont leave until the fire ball is…extinguished lol

Yup, that not only happen to summon unit, same thing happens on companion too.

By the way, can you also try spamming command on Grimore ie. hopping up and down from it and then ordering it to attack. If you could produce similar outcome as me, then we will need IMC to look into it already.

Edit: I think main problem comes from the Attack Ground skill. After casting it, most of the time the Grimoire will no longer attack automatically.
