Sorcerer Card EXP... question, smashing two 5 star cards

So let’s say if I want to combine a level 5 star monster card with another level 5 star monster card, does the one I keep gain all of the other’s exp up to level 5 or does the star don’t matter and it still only 100 exp…

I don’t know if it’s the same for cards but I figured that combining gems with beyond level 1 gems actually give less total EXP compared to combining basic level 1 gems with no experience fused in them.

5 star cards give 300exp when combined

If I remember right, cards give 50 more exp per level it has.

So that lv 5 should give only 350 exp total.
